The final round of the Chart Forum Quiz Season 3
POINTLESS As usual, the rules of this Pointless game are: the players answer each question with what they think the LEAST popular response will be. Points are allocated the same way as in Family Fortunes (e.g. if an answer is shared by 6 players, they each score 5 points each for that question), but here it's the player with the fewest points at the end that wins (so the best answer to a question - a Pointless answer - is one that no other player answered). There's also the catch that an incorrect answer is penalised by giving the answerer the maximum possible score for that question, i.e. one less than the number of players (so if there are 31 players, an incorrect answer would be given 30 points for that question). As an added twist, there are bonus points available for Questions 5 and 10, depending on your answer as described below. These points will be deducted from your score after points have been given in the usual way, for example an answer which 6 players chose, but which carries -1.5 bonus points, would score 3.5 points (that's 5 minus 1.5) for each of those 6 players. Q1. Artist who had their first #1 single in 2020 Q2. Artist / group who have had 8 or more #1 albums Q3. Artist / group who have had singles peaking at #2 in at least 3 different decades Q4. Self-titled Top 40 single (same title as the artist / group) Q5. Top 40 single whose title is one word repeated (appearing at least twice). Bonus -0.3 points for each time the word appears in the title Q6. Top 40 single in 2020 which is a cover of a Top 40 single with the same title from an earlier year Q7. Top 10 single where the word "coffee" appears in the lyrics Q8. Top 10 single where the word "tea" appears in the lyrics Q9. All-female group who appeared in the top 100 of 'Buzzjack's favourite group 2020' Q10. Top 10 single for Taylor Swift. Bonus -0.3 points for a #10 peak up to -3.0 points for a #1 peak To enter, please you could fill in the google form HERE otherwise PM'ing me is fine too. Eligibility for correct answers will be determined by the Official UK Charts as published by the OCC. For Q1-Q3 the artist or group must be individually credited by the OCC (i.e. excluding charity ensembles or as part of a group without individual credits). For Q4 the song title can just include the artist name. For Q5 any words which appear in brackets in the title won't be counted. If there are any queries on the questions, please comment below and I'll answer them. Deadline for entries is 11.59pm (UK time) on Saturday 23 January and results should follow the next day. Looking forward to doing this later, just one question. For question 5, is it only allowed to be that one word in the title of the song repeated or are other words allowed to be in the song title too as long as there is a word that’s repeated twice (at least)?

Submitted... but a question about Q4... does the song title need to be exactly the same as the artist name, no more no less? Or is it OK if it just includes the artists name?
If it needs to be identical then please can I change my answer?! |

There's only allowed to be one word in the title repeated, but I'll be a little lenient with this, so if there are other words which appear in brackets it's still a valid answer, but the words in brackets won't count. |

Submitted! I'm pretty sure I've got a couple of answers which no one else will possibly get but with the more obvious ones it was hard to know which ones to pick so we'll see!

Please can you clarify on the decades for Q3 e.g. is 1970 included as 1970-1979 (i.e. the 70s) or 1961-1970?

I have entered. I'm sure there will be some obvious answers but one question I had to give up thinking of an answer!
