All these songs missed out on the Top 100 singles! I was shocked at the total number of songs honestly I expected it to be much lower for some reason. Beyonce loses more songs in this block however it's Michelle who is in the ultimate loser, having 4 of her 10 singles booted out before we even begin the Top 100 the poor hen. Kelly Rowland manages to only lose Ghetto with Snoop Dogg (go figure) and Destiny's Child's two random collabs which are... definitely songs. I'm not shocked at Top Off being the least liked single of them all - it only got a 2 from me and the highest it got was only a 6. Perfect Duet is very unsurprisingly low down here as are other tragedies Fire, Walk On Water, and Video Phone.

Future reveals will be in blocks of 10 until the Top 10~

Top 50 time seems like a good place to jump into the countdown! My thoughts so far:

'Perfect Duet' did not deserve bottom 3. I get that it's overplayed and refuses to leave the chart but I think it's one of Ed's best and Beyonce is a great addition to the song.

Pleased that 'Diva' at least made the Top 100 as it could easily have achieved a lower score, but it deserves so much better. Like Slick, I did hate it at first but that's due to 11/12 year old me hating anything that wasn't pop. Easily one of her best now, the lyrics are so catchy and I love the attitude of the track.

Shocked at 'The Girl is Mine' and 'Hymn for the Weekend' appearing so low, I swear they've been unfairly rated just because they're not either artists' 'proper' releases as Bal put it.

Buzzjack showing they're bizarre taste again with 'Single Ladies' placing at #62.

Didn't get chance to rate Kelly's songs but 'Down For Whatever' would have been at least a 9. What a banger!

'Diva' should have been bottom 2 with Video Phone in all honesty.

But These results are going pretty expectedly for the most part, I'd say on a personal level 'Single Ladies' is probably about in it's right place, but I expected higher for it! But I know it's a very mixed bag on here with that song, always has been!

I will forever die on the hill that 'Check On It' is severely underrated! What an absolute banger that is. But again, I can't say I'm too surprised at it's positioning. 'We Break The Dawn' deserved top 10, but it's slightly over performed my expectations! A SONG! 'Rose Colored Glasses' is beautiful. I'm lowkey surprised that made top 50!

'XO' disgustingly low! I always thought it was appreciated a lot more than DIL until quite recently... which baffles me :\ Was it because it wasn't a bigger hit? Knowing Buzzjack, probably yes.

1. It's a nonevent compared to the dynamic DIL.
2. It's a "wtf" lead single when they literally had top bops in DIL and Blow.

To be fair DIL was also a lead single technically, I suppose so XO can target pop audiences and DIL the hip hop audience. But even then it doesn’t quite work. A misfire for sure but I suppose both songs still did reasonably well commercially, despite not being huge hits

If my memory serves me right, 'XO' was the lead single ('Blow' was an early option too right? But label was told it was too explicit for radio or something) and DIL only got made a single because it did well on album release.

I definitely remember 'XO' being given the single push in the UK first despite 'Drunk In Love' clearly being more popular.

Not a big fan of 'XO' but she has far worse. On the other hand 'Drunk In Love' is her best song soooo

Also gone are some bops from Kelly and Destiny's Child, Emotion of which I kind of expected to be higher up although Top 40 is probably where I would rank it personally tbh.

The fourth and final single from Dangerously in Love, here is Naughty Girl opening our Top 20. It became her fourth consecutive Top 10 hit in the US and further secured her name in the music industry. I feel this typically gets the least love out of the four singles from this album but I'm glad to be proven wrong with it out-doing both Baby Boy and Me, Myself, and I!

19. Destiny's Child - Independent Women Part I - 8.041 (more 9s)
The soundtrack single for Charlie's Angels released in 2000, imo both this song and the movie are far better than what 2019 gave us! Indepndent Women Part I became a massive worldwide hit and was the first to feature Michelle Williams as the newest member of Destiny's Child.

A recent entry to AF Idol which knocked us out of the contest This was a Top 20 hit in the US but didn't perform overly well anywhere else. I'm really glad it's managed Top 20 here though as it's one of my favourites from Kelly, it's a smooth r&b jam I'm always in the mood for.

17. Destiny's Child - Bootylicious - 8.083 (less 11s)
On the flip side we now have a huge commercial smash from Destiny's Child's prime, Bootylicious. #1 in the US, #2 in the UK, this was huge and is rightfully this high in the results.

As we reach the Top 10 we lose not one but two Beyonce collabs! I was very shocked to see Telephone not even Top 10 here considering Buzzjacks love for both that track and Lady Gaga in general. Beautiful Liar is great to see so high though, and I'm not entirely surprised that Survivor is the 3rd DC single left standing - with Lose My Breath and Say My Name yet to come they definitely feel like the Top 3 Destiny's Child hits.

With these out of the way, it means the Top 10 is 50% Kelly Rowland! A shock if ever I've seen one tbh. Then we have 3 Beyonce tracks and 2 Destiny's Child to go. If Kelly wins maybe we should change to "Kelly Rowland and Destiny's Child Forum"...

10. Destiny's Child - Say My Name - 8.5

The third single from their second album 'Writings on the Wall'. The whole era was a huge worldwide success but this song specifically represented a crucial moment in their future. This song was recorded by the four original members of the band: Beyoncé, Kelly, LeToya, and LaTavia. However when the video dropped, LeToya and LaTavia were conspicuously absent and replaced with two new girls: Michelle Williams (who remained in Destiny’s Child until their final album in 2004) and Farrah Franklin (who lasted five months). It's a huge song, one of my very favourites from them and apparently many others judging by this rate!

9. Beyonce - Drunk In Love (feat. Jay Z) - 8.58

One of two lead singles from Beyonce's self-titled album, we have Drunk In Love at #9! I would honestly rate this as my very top Beyonce song tbh. It's a continuation of sorts of their biggest hit together, Crazy In Love, touching more on their love as a married couple and basically sex as a married couple (with some alcohol thrown in there). It's sexy, it's strong, it's empowering it's everything you want out of a Beyonce song and more. I'm gutted it's not at least Top 5, but 8.58 is a great score and the songs above this are generally great too.

Next is the other big Bey + Jay collab, Crazy In Love! Most likely this is both his and hers biggest hit by quite some margin. This is probbaly my second favourite from Beyonce tbh, I know this is likely a lot of people's go-to song but for good reason. It's just that summer banger that literally everybody knows.
A very respectable 8.625... but at #8 it means we 100% have a new winner as the last rate in the forum ended up with Crazy In Love at #1! Very interesting indeed...

FINALLY a Kelly song is out I do wish it wasn't this out yet though... Following on from Crazy In Love it's only fair that this is yet another iconic song from the 00's, albeit less iconic (although there are very few other songs as iconic as CIN tbf). The original is an r&b anthem in it's own right but then the remix comes along and it bangs *.* Arguably one of my favourite ever remixes and I'm so glad it's made the Top 10!

Wow! So that's it for Beyonce, out at #4 with only 'Lose My Breath' remaining in terms of songs she has any involvement with I was shocked that this wasn't Top 2, just as shocked that Crazy In Love wasn't #1 tbh. Sweet Dreams was a single from the I Am... Sasha Fierce album (another one) and actually wasn't a massive hit, it's a decently well known song although mostly in the UK which explains it's popularity on Buzzjack!

It's a battle between Destiny's Child and Kelly Rowland (and David Guetta ) for the #1!

It's a tie for 2nd and 3rd... with the song in #3 being a revolutionary dance track by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland! This song essentially started the trend of pop singers collaborating with producers which is still a popular trend today (although David Guetta doesn't exactly get huge hits anymore). It's euphoric and such a feel good song, one of Kelly's best for sure

Kelly absolutely dominating the top 10 is also a massive shock to see! I love the Beyonce songs included in the top 10 though - Sweet Dreams and Drunk In Love deserved more though even though they did brilliantly.

I was very shocked when I was compiling these results, obviously while the rates were coming in I could see that Kelly was doing well (perhaps favoured partly due to the fact she hasn't had a rate before?) but I didn't realise how crazy it would turn out until the end! Commander is around 10-15 places to high imo... it's a good song but the fact it's Top 10 over Survivor, Bootylicious, Telephone, and If I Were A Boy had me shook *.*

I don't think we could've asked for a much better winner though. Lose My Breath is indeed a timeless classic and as always well-loved on Buzzjack pretty much by all
