With a release of a version featuring Stormzy and a Major Lazer remix, will 'Shape of You' maintain its run at #1 or will The Chainsmokers & Coldplay's collaboration 'Something Just Like This' - released following Wednesday night's BRIT Awards - manage to climb to the top? The Top 40 may also see debuts from Calvin Harris' 'Slide' (which features Frank Ocean and Migos of 'Bad and Boujee' fame), Jason Derulo's 'Swalla' (featuring Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign), Zedd & Alessia Cara's 'Stay', Bruno Mars' 'That’s What I Like' and KATO & Sigala's 'Show You Love' (with vocals from Hailee Steinfeld).

Rag'n'Bone Man's album has been achieving high sales the past couple of weeks, but will that be enough to keep Stormzy's debut album Gang Signs & Prayer from the top spot? Other entries to the chart may include Future's HNDRXX (just one week after his previous album), Little Big Town's The Breaker, Rhiannon Giddens' Freedom Highway and Thundercat's Drunk. The effects of the BRIT Awards should also continue to be felt in this week's chart.

Breakdown of the week

Due to The BRITS airing Wednesday night, I would imagine Rag'N'Bone Man should sell around the same as he did the week just passed, so around 65-70k. I think Stormzy should still do it with streams involved.

I'm not that surprised it is pretty close though. Should be a big selling top 2 in general.

Was expecting Stormzy to be safe!

I'm mystified as to how Rag'n'Bone Man keeps turning in such stellar sales, Hozier delivered a similar sound way better imo and never had such astronomical album sales. Granted I'm basing this opinon on the singles and grats I've heard, I think I need to listen to the album at some point.

I don't think Hozier was ever really pushed to the older Radio 2 album buying audience in the same way as Rag'N'Bone Man is being.

I suspected people were overestimating Stormzy. I've seen figures of 70k+ being bandied about whereas I thought 40k or 50k was more reasonable (but still an impressive amount for such an artist.

I'm sure Stormzy will still sell a lot (50k+), it's just that Rag'n'Bone Man seems to be doing amazingly well (it should easily be the year's 2nd-biggest album at this rate, behind you-know-who). I don't think he's being overestimated, I think we were all underestimating RnB Man's stability.

The Stormzy takeover on Spotify is similar in magnitude to The Weeknd last November when they racked up 15,854 SES - so given no streaming is included yet I'd still expect a comfortable 50K and I think I initially predicted 60-70K which I am still happy with...

Minty posted that he cannot reveal the data but that Stormzy's streams are huge, thought Sat mids didn't have streams?

There are some stats I have to keep secret, but his 'Day 1 streams' are also an absolute fu***ng madness.

That tweet was from someone who works at Spotify UK - retweeted by Minty but only stating what we can see from the Spotify chart. His streams ARE huge, but they aren't included in the midweeks as yet...

Surely Stormzy should be fine if he is ahead on Mint's info, especially if streams are not included in that info?

That would mean he is slightly ahead just by physical sales and with streams added he would have the bigger lead we would expect him to have?
