So once again we have another tiebreak! This time, I'll add a short description so everyone knows who the people are: Margaret Court - Won 24 Grand Slam Titles, 192 Career titles Cathy Freeman - Won Gold at the 2000 Olympics, won two World Championship golds Rod Laver - Won 11 Grand Slam Titles, achieved a Grand Slam twice Li Na - Won two Grand Slam titles, three Universiade golds Naomi Osaka - Won two Grand Slam titles Ian Thorpe - Won five Olympic golds and 11 World Championship titles The rules are simple - vote for the sportsperson you think deserves an automatic spot in the Final. The sportsperson with the most votes will get the automatic spot, whilst the other fivewill join all the other sportspeople nominated from Asia in the Qualifying rounds. Voting will only be open until tomorrow afternoon so you've not got much time! Get voting! (and once again tell us your votes below!) |

I'm just looking at the nominations thread. It says one person qualifies for the final. Shane Warne had five nominations, all these people had four. Doesn't Shane get a spot in the final without the need for this tie-break?

Doesn't Shane get a spot in the final without the need for this tie-break? I must have accidentally deleted the votes for Shane Warne when counting up, oops! Since I've already posted this, I'll say that the winner of this poll qualifies alongside Shane and one less will make it through the groups. (EDIT: Just had a look at my list, I've seen what I did - some people voted for 'Shayne Warne' and others for 'Shane Warne' so I counted them as two different people ) |

They were probably thinking of Shayne Ward, the actor and singer.
I went for Margaret Court, based on number of grand slams, and she always gets mentioned whenever Serena Williams plays as she's being trying to equal her record for so long. |
