About to send! And I have it on good authority (ie. Jay) that there is no physical for Like U Like, just a promo CD I assume.

Yeah 'Like U Like' was just a digital release. Hard to believe that's already 4 years old!

Well it already sounded four years old four years ago to be fair (as much as I loved it in 2010)!

Can I just share a very sad story about my collection x (Which Joseph already knows about!)
I have 12" vinyls of No Good Advice promo, Life Got Cold promo, Jump promo & Long Hot Summer. I kept them in pristine condition for years, particularly 'Long Hot Summer' which looked as new. Anyway last year (or was it in 2013?) during a tidy up, my dad moved various things into my room in order to tidy another room. When this stuff was taken out of my room, I discovered that my GA vinyls (which edged slightly out from the shelf they were kept on) had been bashed by something, and the top right hand corners of all of them were bent & in the case of LHS, ripped. I was pretty angry about that, not that my Dad understood because it's just ~stuff~ (which it is to be fair, but still. ) I suppose it was silly of me to keep them in a "precarious" place like that, but I hardly anticipated that that would happen. 'Long Hot Summer' sleeve is the most damaged one. These vinyls are so rare now too, so even if I wanted to replace them it'd be very difficult (and it'd be a miracle to find a LHS vinyl which was like it, as if it was new off the shelf, like mine used to be). Sigh! (Don't worry, I don't dwell on this all the time , but this topic reminded me of it, when I saw my pictures of them looking as they used to). |

Jay! I would go pretty apocalyptic if something like that happened to me! It did come close to happening when my sister and her friends were using a tambourine signed by all of them for their 'band'.

How dare they! Our family members need to realise how sacred our GA items are tbh.

My poor LHS vinyl:
(There's also a slight crease in front of the cocktail stick 'leaves' but it was harder to show that in the photo) Back cover: Spine: My 12" vinyls in happier times: |

Oh gosh I try not to worry too much about the condition of my collection but for something rare like that, I'd be pretty annoyed too so I totally get you. Kinda reminds me of on holiday, I brought several CDs as always for the car, one of which was my signed Mia Silvas CD (yes, Lucie has a sister who makes music!), it got Coke spilt on it and I thought the sleeve would be ruined. Thankfully it was fine and only left a little stain on the back cover, the booklet with the signature was fine!

Moral to these stories:
- Don't let your Dad in your room - Don't drink coke |

Refused to buy Kimberley's album from HMV for 75p because I thought it was too expensive...
