31 & 32
32. Stepped On My J'z (Nelly feat. Ciara & Jermaine Dupri) [4.23] HIGHEST | Riser (07.5) LOWEST | rafik4u (01) 31. And I [5.6] HIGHEST | ...ready for it; Jonjo; Nick F1 & Davidson (07) LOWEST | Tawdry Hepburn & blacksquare (03) --- At #32 we have STEPPED ON MY J'Z a song in which CiCi features with Nelly & Jermaine Dupri. Considering the caliber of artists involved (Nelly is one of my fave rappers!), this really sucks and I'm not mad to see it finish dead last. It's awful. Next at #31 is AND I a sultry and smooth jam. I really like it, but I can definitely see why it didn't resonate with some! Not really a surprising loss here tbh. |

26 - 30
30. So What (Field Mob feat. Ciara) [5.64] HIGHEST | Jack (09) LOWEST | Scene (02.5) 29. Can't Leave 'Em Alone (feat. 50 Cent) [5.9] HIGHEST | Scene (10) LOWEST | Tawdry Hepburn & rafik4u (-01) 28. Promise Ring (Tiffany Evans feat. Ciara) [5.92] HIGHEST | Jonjo & troylovesmusic (08.5) LOWEST | Scene & rafik4u (02) 27. Speechless [6.26] HIGHEST | Cremey (09) LOWEST | blacksquare (04) 26. Never Ever (feat. Jeezy) [6.3] HIGHEST | Jack (09) LOWEST | blacksquare (04) --- The Field Mob collaboration SO WHAT kick starts the top 30 for us. A bop tbh. But I only ever remember Ciara's chorus oops. But when I listen to it, I bop to it quite a bit. Scene is gonna be gutted but... CAN'T LEAVE 'EM ALONE falls out at #29 and ends up in her bottom 5 singles... oops [2]. I don't think it helps that the general attitude towards 50 Cent is less than favourable anyway. I don't mind this, but I wouldn't say it's essential CiCi. PROMISE RING where Tiffany Evans enlisted the help of Ciara, falls at #28. This is such a catchy song and I'm surprised to see it receive luke-warm scores tbh. </3 This always makes me smile! Up next at #27 is SPEECHLESS. The second single from her 'Basic Instinct' album. A decent song, but one I struggle to remember! Finally at #26 is NEVER EVER. A song I actually thought would make the top 20! So this kinda suprised me! Such a great song and a CiCi essential I'd say. |

21 - 25
25. Go Girl (feat. T-Pain) [6.36] HIGHEST | ...ready for it (09) LOWEST | rafik4u (02) 24. Like You (Bow Wow feat. Ciara) [6.57] HIGHEST | troylovesmusic (10) LOWEST | Scene & blacksquare (03) 23. Get Up (R3HAB feat. Ciara) [6.63] HIGHEST | Nick F1 (10) LOWEST | blacksquare (03) 22. Sorry [6.76] HIGHEST | Nick F1 & Cremey (09) LOWEST | rafik4u (02) 21. Dose [7.23] HIGHEST | Nick F1 (10) LOWEST | rafik4u (03) --- Heading into the top 25 now and starting us off is the first single from her 3rd studio album 'Fantasy Ride'. GO GIRL didn't manage to set the charts alight, but it's an infectious bop and luckily the singles that followed directly after set her up for a more successful era. At #24 it is her feature on Bow Wow's smooth urban jam, LIKE YOU. It managed to hit the top 20 in the UK by hitting #17 and was a top 3 smash in the US! A nice and chilled out track that suits her vocals beautifully! GET UP which is a collaboration with R3HAB, is next to leave us. I gave this a 6.5... I really underscored it tbh. A BOP! It received a little Tik Tok revival not too long ago too! It's a shame it didn't translate it into becoming a bit more of a hit </3. We have SORRY next. Another song of CiCi's that didn't do well at all! It's such a shame coz it's lush and deserved to be a hit for her. Finally and the last song in this batch is the 2nd single from her most recent album 'Beauty Marks', DOSE. 'Dose' is an uptempo track that has production in the style of marching bands. It's SO good and deserved to be a smash! |

20 - 16
20. Gimmie Dat [7.66] HIGHEST | Riser (11) LOWEST | Tawdry Hepburn (03) 19. I'm Out (feat. Nicki Minaj) [7.7] HIGHEST | JosephStyles (11) LOWEST | blacksquare (05) 18. Level Up [7.73] HIGHEST | Jack & Nick F1 (10) LOWEST | ...ready for it & rafik4u (05) 17. Got Me Good [8.00] HIGHEST | Jack (11) LOWEST | blacksquare & rafik4u (04) 16. Thinkin' Bout You [8.23] HIGHEST | Jonjo; Jack; Nick F1 & Tawdry Hepburn (10) LOWEST | rafik4u (02) --- Starting off the top 20 we have the underrated GIMMIE DAT. This was the 3rd single from her 4th studio album but the video is FULLY funded by Ciara herself who put $100,000 of her own money to it and the label were reluctant to push any of the singles on radio! Ugh. Poor CiCi </3 Up next is the 2nd single from her self titled album. I'M OUT featured hip-hop heavyweight, Nicki Minaj, and went on to become a middling hit for CiCi. Such a banger. I was sure it'd be an easy top 40 hit for her over here, but it only managed to get to #54! I'm lowkey surprised it isn't higher, but maybe it might have been had there been more voters? LEVEL UP is up next at #18 and although it failed to ignite the charts, the song has a HUGE following after being used on populr platform Tik Tok and the video has a HUGE 249m views! It's a great song and ridiculously infectious. Next at #17 is GOT ME GOOD. A great position for a song that didn't hit anywhere, pretty much! So underrated. It was pimped up to be on her self titled release, but they scrapped that plan and decided not to include it at all! It's SO good. Didn't deserve to make no impact anywhere </3 Ending this section at #16 and missing the top 15 is (I'm actually pretty shocked)... THINKIN' BOUT YOU, which is her most recent single! Again, the song wasn't really a hit anywhere, however it's CRACKING song. The bassline is infectious and had this been done by someone with bigger leverage in the charts, I'm pretty confident it'd have been a bonafide smash! Already one of my favourite Ciara singles.. it's just SO. DAMN. GOOD. So feel-good and effortless! If you've not heard it... PLEASE do. It's fantastic! |

With a fantastic average though and tbh I'm impressed it's done as well as it has considering I assume less people are familiar with it!
Hopefully more people will rate in the future ones and we'll be able to get it higher! |

15 - 11
15. Get Up (feat. Chamillionaire) [8.30] HIGHEST | Jack, Nick F1 & Davidson (10) LOWEST | blacksquare (06) 14. Oh! (feat. Ludacris) [8.33] HIGHEST | SamJudd, Jonjo, Nick F1 & troylovesmusic (10) LOWEST | Liam (06.5) 13. Lose Control (Missy Elliott feat. Ciara & Fatman Scoop) [8.43 - NO 11's] HIGHEST | SamJudd, Jack, Nick F1, JosephStyles, Riser, Cremey, blacksquare & troylovesmusic (10) LOWEST | rafik4u (03) 12. Ride (feat. Ludacris) [8.43 - THREE 11's] HIGHEST | Cremey, Davidson & blacksquare (11) LOWEST | Tawdry Hepburn (05) 11. I Bet [8.56] HIGHEST | Jack, JosephStyles, Cremey, troylovesmusic & rafik4u (10) LOWEST | ...ready for it, SamJudd, Riser & blacksquare (07) --- As we head into the top 15 the second (and superior) GET UP makes an appearance and starts us off. Even with Chamillionaire on the track, this song bops! It's about where I would have expected it to be. Next at #14 is the first of the 2 Ludacris tracks and it's her 3rd single, OH!. For a long time, this was my favourite CiCi song! I actually think it's really underrated even now. This was a big hit for her following up the huge smashes 'Goodies' & '1, 2 Step'. SO GOOD. Next we have a TIE! The lowest of the 2 songs is (and I'm fairly surprised it isn't near the top 5 ngl, LOSE CONTROL, the 2nd of 3 outings for Ciara and Missy! There's a chaotic structure to this song. Like it's absolutely crazy in terms of production but it WORKS. A great song that I think is fondly remembered today! Winning the tie with thanks to THREE 11's, it is the smooth RIDE, which makes it the highest of the 2 Ludacris collaborations. Such a sensual and smooth jam. The song managed to literally SCRAPE the top 75 in the UK... at #75. It got to #42 in the US, but after the success of the 'Fantasy Ride' era, I think this was seen as a bit of an underperformance. And finally, just missing the top 10 is I BET, the lead single from her 'Jackie' album. This mid-tempo ballad threw Ciara to getting a decent hit, despite less than impressive peaks. It charted at #56 in the UK, but iirc it was floating around the low end of the top 40 on UK iTunes for a while! Such a smooth bop. My only issue with it is that it is quite a long track, when it doesn't really go anywhere? But it's stunning. |
