Love, GBA and BPBP for top 3 hopefully
Highest: dandy* (10) Lowest: Joe/White Mustang, JosephStyles, blacksquare, Jay ☆ (6)
Okay, so firstly, well done Buzzjack, despite 20 rates, the lowest average is 7.66, which goes to show how well received the album is here (The Honeymoon rate started off in the 6s). So a big YES at everyone appreciating this masterful album. It's a bit of a shame a song has to come last here, but you guys chose 'Change', which I would agree, personally was one of the weakest. It was said to have been recorded last, with Lana deciding to add the song to the album last minute, the night before the tracks were submitted to the label for printing, which explains why it is very stripped back and just uses the piano. Though the melody isn't one of the stand outs on the album, the sentiment is nice.
That's probably the one that I go back to the least so I'm glad that finished last!
Those averages though *.*
Change is lovely, joes right, it was the final song to be added to the album, literally recorded that night!!!
Highest: Joe., HarryEzra, John-James (10) Lowest: HausofSZA (5.5)
Next up we have one of my personal favourites. Funnily enough, I was telling people to skip this track as one of the more "forgettable tracks" when I first listened to the album, but after repeated listens it emerged as a huge stand out. I do find it to be almost parody Lana with the chorus lyrics "In your whiiiite mustang, your whiiiite mustang', but it still somehow transports me. It's dreamy, beautifully sung and whether you all like it or not, it's going to be the next video from Lust for Life as revealed by Lana herself!
Wasn't expecting to see 'Change' last! That's a shame, definitely one of my favourites now.
As if it was recorded that night?! Amazing.
White Mustang is criminally low wtf!! In my Top 3 100%!
Highest: Joe., HarryEzra, Umi, (10) Lowest: Bjork (4)
Another moment on the album's narative - part 3 of the Lana's political awakening, which happens just past half way through the album with 'Coachella' and 'God Bless America'. It's a somewhat sad song, where Lana sings 'is it the end of America?', but also invites her listeners to find hope and dance through the confusing times in the US. It's chorus is really quite quirky and fun and, I feel, if lifted with a remix (if Lana still did them) could work nicely. "Choreo!"
Change is lovely but probably my least favourite track on the album so I probably agree with that placing.
White Mustang would be slightly higher for me though, it's a bit underrated in my opinion as it gets a bit overshadowed due to being in the stronger half of the album but it's lovely as a standalone track in my opinion. Will be exciting to get a video for it
Cherry, Lust for Life and Summer Bummer for top three please!! Predicting Love to be up there though, I like it lots but I do find it a little overrated on this site
WTWWAW doesn't get enough love
No way is Change the worst thing on the album!!!!!!!! It's really beautiful, possibly my favourite thing on the whole thing.
Two of my favourites, especially White Mustang, gone already?!
These were the weakest to me on first listen but I truly would rate everything above an 8 now.
how is coachella this high!!
God damn.. just listened to the album a second time and the run of songs on the latter half of the album is perfect! Not fully liking 'Love' but it's a good introductory track to the LP.

A nice moment on the album, the two voices blend together well and Stevie's vocals sound incredible (She's going to be 70 soon!) I like the message behind the song, as it kind of comments on modern society and the digital age, but it's not the most exciting song on the album, I'd have at least swapped it with 'When The World'
I like Beautiful People lots actually. As Joe mentioned, Stevie's voice is just lovely and they work well together. It is really nice when Lana does collabs like this, it's a shame she doesn't do them usually for her own albums until this era.
I'm shocked that the Sean Lennon track is still in, I'd have all the last three dropouts ahead of it in my ranking !!
I'm going to be upset that everything can't be a joint #1, tbh.
Beautiful People would come very close to taking my 11 now.
Highest: Tyler, Cremey, (10) Lowest: Bjork, dandy* (6)
Finishing higher than I expected (not because it's a bad song, but because it's one of the least talked about) is 'Tomorrow Never Came', which features Yoko and John's son, Sean, which Lana breaks the 4th wall signing about in the song 'now I'm singing with Sean'. I love this song, it's got such beautiful harmonies and I like how Lana sells nostalgia so organically, which so many big pop stars try to do but it comes off somewhat phony. It didn't get many top scores, but similarly, didn't get many low scores either, making it the first song with an 8+ average. Get it Sean!
Their voices together are magical. But, so is her voice with every collaboration on this album.
The male collars make this album more approachable for a non fans imo.

Okay, so this is the first really big shock for me, 'In My Feelings' is appears to be a massive favourite, amoung fans, on forums and is often highlighted in the critical reviews. Seeing it miss the top 10 while underdogs 'Coachella' and 'Groupie Love' make it through is quite the shocker. I have nothing against those two songs, both are luscious, but 'In My Feelings' (which is apparently a G-Eazy diss track) is a discography highlight to me. It's a real change of pace, and I love the bubbling angry and angst in the vocals. Love love love.
Groupie Love is an underdog? It's gorgeous
Definitely interesting to see which tracks hit right away though and which are slower burners.
Coachella STILL in!! Really?!
'In My Feelings' does bore me, so I'm glad it's out. I seem to be a fan of a lot of the less popular songs on this album though, as I'm very happy that 'Coachella' is still in and I'm sad that 'Tomorrow Never Came' is gone!
I looooooovvvveeee IMF. So hauting and sexual at the same time. Classic Lana moment.
Losing two of my top 5 in BPBP and IMF! The former is utterly stunning and the latter rwllystabs out in the right way <3
WTWWATWKD (omg that acronym!!) is also too low for my liking and I'd have TNC a few places lower but it's still stunning.
With Lotti on how tf is coachella still in. I love it but it's easily bottom 3!
In My Feelings missing the top 10 is the first bad outcome for me ! I consider it to be single choice-worthy.
Happy that Coachella is still in. That outro though, her vocals are beautiful.
2 of my favs were the first ones gone (Change and White Mustard), In my Feelings is just ok for me
funnily, since rating the songs some have already grown on me a lot, like Beautiful People, which I didn't like at first, suddenly clicked
White mustard!!!!!!
So my two personal favourites 'White Mustang' and 'When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing' not only criminally low but dropout one after the other
was the damn autocorrect that did the White Mustard thing
Right I'm gonna kick off the top 10.

'Coachella' was released randomly a few months before the album was released with no indication of whether it was going to be on Lust For Life. Fans seemed initially, not to take to the song, hoping it was left off the album. However, the song seems to have grown on people, despite a lot of people putting it at the bottom of their album ranks in the first week or so...The lyrics are very on the nose for Lana, but she's said this was intentional and it kind of works given the themes. The production is very grand and Born to Die-esque and there's a stunning outro which includes some of Liz's best vocals on the album
it's a middle of the pack song for me, don't love it but don't hate it either, although the lyrics are a bit disappointing and could be better
Absolutely love 'Tomorrow Never Came' 😍 the way she sings 'in the city, on a park benCH'
'Coachella' has grown on me massively, not one of my immediate favourites but it'sd probably be just outside my top 5 now.
Coachella is decent. Pre-album I would've said the best of the first three singles, although Love and LFL have grown on me.
I only just noticed these results AND WTF I'm disgusted at Beautiful People Beautiful Problems being #13 !!!!!
It's literally been the enduring fave for me now and coming close to being my fave this era. How could you people?!

'Heroin' is the next to drop out. It's a lush dark and dreamy pop number, that's very much classic Lana. It's very much in one gear through much of the song and then that FAB middle 8 comes and hits you. For me, it really is all about the middle 8. Lyrically it borrows from the Charles Manson murders. Apparently it's used to portray Lana's inner violence. Personally, reading this in the context of the message of the album, I think it's putting into context the cut throat nature of the showbiz world and Hollywood. The chaotic middle 8 being Lana's own struggles and feelings as she found herself in Hollywood following her rise to fame, and the struggles of succeeding in this Capitalist society leading to finding highs to cope with the pressures. I could be talking rubbish though x
Like most of the album full of incredible metaphor and imagery and very much in keeping with the album theme! I'm slightly disappointed not to see this higher but it is a strong album so hey ho!
Heroin is an absolute stunner of a song!
Some really stellar tracks are falling out now. Heroin is one of my absoute favourites though so it's a shame not to see it slightly higher.
(Thanks Ben!)
not that crazy about Heroin, much prefer Change and White Mustang, which were the first to go

Yet another stunning track here. In terms of the album tracks we'd not heard before, 'God Bless America - And All the Beautiful Women in it' was one of the first tracks that jumped out on me. It was initially my favourite but got overtaken by a few other songs on further listens, so I think it's finishing in about the right place. It's a truly haunting song, where Lana sings passionately about America, as she has done in the past, but this time there is a more sinister tone with the going ons of Trump America....The gun shots on the chorus are chilling. God bless Lana Del Rey.
God Bless America flip flops between being my favourite on the album. The way she sings the chorus is just heaven, her voice is so smooth its like silk brushing against your ears. Her vocals also give me major 'Born To Die' vibes.
Highest:360Jupiter, Josh!, Tyler(10) Jay ☆ (11) Lowest: dandy* (5)
What did Lana Do? That.
God Bless America is one of my least favourites, I kinda liked Groupie Love but lately I'm skipping it quite often...
My favourite! It has such a dreamy vibe to it, love it.
Highest: UltraRedLight, Tyler, John-James, blacksquare (10) Burbe (11) Lowest: Adelina555 (6)
A massive fan favourite, '13 Beaches' sadly just misses out on the top 5, which leaves us with;
Love
Lust For Life
Cherry
Summer Bummer
Get Free
get free top 5!?! im shook
God bless America & 13 beaches are sfg, glad both made the top 10
Love to win hopefully!
Summer Bummer is crazy high
'13 Beaches' deserves to be higher, it is top 3 for me along with 'Love' and 'Cherry'.
rigth place fr 13 beaches
but wait Get Free top 5?????!!!!!
13 beaches SO low?? what the hell
cherry to win now
I'M SORRY
joe is on holiday and entrusted me to do the results but i've been working all week. i'll do this over the next couple of days!!!!
We have perhaps a shock top 5, although maybe not so surprising because this is so classic Lana. The album closer managed to score so consistently that it's made it *.* I really hope this becomes a feature in her setlist soon, currently we only have an acapella version. Also I can confirm this song is absolutely lit to scream whilst driving
Highest: HarryEzra, Josh!, blacksquare, (10) Joe, Cremey (11) Lowest: dandy* (6)
What an average im so glad she finally released a track like this *.*
Those last two are absolute perfection! My top 2 for sure
'Get free' is incredible
Amazing to see Get Free in the Top 5!
Highest: Joe, Burbe, Lotti, Umi, Cremey, Bjork, JosephStyles (10) Josh! (11) Lowest: blacksquare (7)
Here we have the second single and title track as well as Lana's first ever feature as a single or on one of her albums. She works with her good friend Abel, more commonly known to us as The Weeknd, whom she has featured on 3 of his previous albums' tracks. What I love about this feature is that it never feels like your standard "urban" add on, The Weeknd falls into Lana's world rather than pushing his own style into the song and their harmonies fit together wonderfully. And while 3rd might feel disappointing for some for this track; 9.36...what a fab average!
Glad LFL isn't on top. It took a long while to grab me and while I do like it now as a standalone, it's not what I go to Lana for.
the top 2 are the best 2 by far
Highest: Joe, Burbe, Josh!, Tyler, Cremey, Bjork, blacksquare (10) 360Jupiter, Cherry., Umi, (11) Lowest: HausofSZA (7)
f***!
Bitch!
Narrowly missing the top spot is hugely loved album track 'Cherry', which Lana began to perform before the album was released and the fans had heard in it's studio glory. 'Cherry' was a fast fan fav and that is no different here on Buzzjack where it's beaten out two of the singles from the album....But not one...
Highest: Jay ☆, dandy*, Lotti, Adelina555, Burb, (10) UltraRedLight, HarryEzra, Bjork, JosephStyles (11) Lowest:
And we have a winner, in the form the beautiful single 'Love', which is only of Lana' most hopefully and happy leads, with a magnificent video to accompany it. A brilliant start to a brilliant era. Thanks everyone!
my 2 fav by a million miles!!!!
was disappointed she didn't do the f**k/bitch part live when playing cherry
Perfect top 2!!!!
Great top 2 and I adore Love so much
Thanks for doing this rate
oh f*** off
cherry should've won
Both songs are 11s
