377k sales for D'You Know What I Mean? Wow, I knew the album sold loads, but didn't realise the single was just as big. That must be one of the biggest 1st week sales for a single in chart history?

Excluding talent show and charity singles, I think that might be the biggest? Not even Adele's 'Hello' sold that much. No wait, Britney sold >400k with 'Baby One More Time', I think. (Wiki says 460k) |

The Chainsmokers would have been #1! (probably) It had been declining for many weeks by that time Looks like it'd be the 6th week of ACR for Drake as well - the increase in the last week wouldn't have been enough to go back to the normal ratio. So we'd have seen number 1s for Kungs, Jonas Blue, Chainsmokers and Calum Scott before Major Lazer I believe |

Missed the top 40 this week?
AlunaGeorge Turn Up The Love - Information Release date: 07-07-2017 Format: digital single Label: Island Records and Interscope Records Chart sales: - Certification: - Sales only chart peak: - Streaming only chart peak: - Video Biography As AlunaGeorge, vocalist Aluna Francis and producer George Reid have amalgamated electronic pop, 2-step garage, and left-field R&B. They met in 2009, when Reid remixed a track by Francis' group My Toys Like Me, and debuted in 2011 on Sweet Recordings with the "Analyser"/"We Are Chosen" single. By the end of the year, AlunaGeorge remixes for Mirrors ("Into the Heart") and Lana Del Rey ("Born to Die") were released. The relatively R&B-oriented "You Know You Like It" led a three-track Tri Angle EP of the same title in June 2012. This was quickly followed by a remix of Florence + the Machine's "Spectrum," as well as a vocal version of Rustie's Glass Swords track "After Light." "Your Drums, Your Love," their Island debut, was released in September 2012 and peaked at number 50 in the U.K. Early the following year, AlunaGeorge assisted with Disclosure's "White Noise," which reached number two in their country, and released their own "Attracting Flies" in advance of Body Music. A number 11 U.K. hit, the album featured the Top 20 pop single "Attracting Flies." Vagrant supported the album in the U.S., where it went to number two on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Within a year, Island released Body Music Remixed with Kaytranada, Friendly Fires, and Duke Dumont among the contributors, though a later non-album DJ Snake remix of "You Know You Like It" became the duo's greatest stateside success, certified platinum by the RIAA. Between proper studio albums, Francis and Reid remained present with featured appearances on tracks by ZHU ("Automatic"), Jack Ü ("To Ü"), Kaytranada ("Together"), and Flume ("Innocence"). "I'm in Control," featuring Popcaan, was released in early 2016 as the first of several singles that preceded AlunaGeorge's guest-loaded second studio album, I Remember, issued that September. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2012 50 Your Drums, Your Love -1- 2013 02 White Noise (Disclosure feat. well let's all at least be grateful that Calum Scott was denied of a #1. Haha - it's nice at least that it bought the song the attention it deserves, but Robyn's original is so far superior it's unreal. I ended up playing the Buzz Junkies remix in my sets for ages instead because the Calum Scott one got requested and even the Tiesto remix doesn't save it. (Although I did love singing it on karaoke for a bit ) |

Here from the start for once. And haven't been following the midweeks for that reason so should make it more interesting. Just want Sigella to be top 10!

15 years since Gareth Gates was at number one? Now I feel old! I heard 'Anyone of Us' on the radio again the other day, more Abba-esque than I remember it being!

Hey! Hoping Troye and Jax Jones have snuck in, would be nice to have 4 more new entries.
Any ideas on what songs will get their ACR in this upcoming chart week? |
