Hello one, hello all

68 songs are competing for 40 spots in the final, to join this months Autoqualifiers:

Altyr Muunilinst - Rose Gray - Save Your Tears


Bøtanikkä - Charlotte Cardin - Meaningless


Join me at around 8PM this evening to find out who has made it and who hasn't. With so many entries this month 14 songs will be missing out in each semi final!

The margin was wafer thin in both semi's!

I think a lot of good songs will be leaving because of the strength of semi 1 in particular, hoping most of my faves make it and hoping I can return with a Q!

I’m not expecting anything other than a resounding DNQ but I hope somebody liked Anna. For me it’s such a gorgeous song with really wonderful and unique, but very sad lyrics, and I do feel it stood on its own in the semi sonically, but has maybe just got lost in the large pack. Be a shame if it does really really badly though.

There will no doubt be some shocks because a lot of the predicted DNQs, especially some of the alt and indie songs, I think will go through over some of the quite samey dance stuff, especially in Semi 1. I’d keep a close eye on that Utopia/Suedeonia/Zanmatony trio plus Skall in Semi 1, they’re not predicted to do much but some of them will make it.

I'm unsure despite nearly all Q predictions. Here's hoping to get through though as it would equal our longest Q streak from a couple of years back with 5!
