I can't link yet, because I don't have enough posts.
Older band that seems punk but is labeled grunge I think. I have long wished to play in a band that has the same fast rock feel. I wanted to post this, because it is obscure and cool, very different than what else I have seen on here. |

Viva Zapata! by them was a great album. They never quite got the recognition that they deserved. They were more like Sonic Youth than they were L7 despite what their promotion suggested

I actually haven't listened to l7 or sonic youth. Are they worthwhile?

I would say so. Sonic Youth are more Art Rock and L7 are more straight up Grunge
