American electronic producer and DJ Marshmello is releasing a joint single with their American colleagues Ookay on the 24th February and will feature vocals from Noah Cyrus. The track was originally called Living High but after a leak it has been modified and changed to Chasing Colors. The song will be released next week on the usual digital devices.

Judging by the Living High version, this is the first future bass song I have heard with enough bass in the drop to justify the genre name imo! biggrin.gif I always wondered why it was called future bass as most so called future bass songs seem don't have bass being that prominent in it, unlike this one.

hey, this is the thing of future - take it as real, even if it doesn't exist
I'm here for Ookay sound, which (unfortunately) I can't find there, so pity for that. Don't like Marshmello's trending as these vibes are kinda overused now.

Its not as good as Alone (loved the Alice Deejay trancepop style buildup even if the drop was a bit generic) but I like the fact it does have a bassline in the drop, a bit like dubstep did, although sadly its flat and doesn't wobble, it would be interesting to have future bass songs with bass wobbles in the drop.

I think this is a great tune now actually dance.gif , but sadly it's probably too dancey and lively a future bass song to become a hit in these dull chart dance times, it certainly isn't like the more poppy chilled chart friendly Martin Garrix or The Chainsmokers future bass.
