So apparently the winner of the fourth series of The Voice UK is releasing his album in less than a month and a couple of songs have already been released from it! laugh.gif

SONGS
1. My Heart Never Lies
2. Take Our Time
3. Cannonballs
4. Killing Time
5. Big World
6. If We Wait
7. Save It For Me
8. Stone
9. Don't Go
10. Turn It Around
11. Lungs

I just can't at how little effort goes into the winners.

That's the BBC for you - I can't wait for the show to move over to ITV; I just hope the viewing public are ready.

if they're so committed to having a success with a competition winner, why don't they at least put some effort into a promotion campaign, performances on tv etc??

shocking really

If his single had airplay, it probably would've done well. It sounds like that MOR music that the people love to buy in their droves.

The actual message he posted on his Facebook is worth a read though. It has to be said it's refreshing that you have an artist enter into this, regardless of if they came from a show like 'The Voice', who knows what they want out of it and he obviously could see the industry for what it really was and really was quite happy to have a fanbase, small and dedicated to gig for, and maintain a normal life for his wife and daughter. People forget that stardom isn't for everybody and his level headed approach is to be congratulated, I think. The song he did on the quarter final of 'The Voice' last week was quite pleasant.
