if they only allow acoustic performances on Sunday Brunch, they should have just interviewed her + showed a clip of the video.
this is definitely not the kind of song that you can make work acoustically. she needs a massive performance, there's just nowhere to perform it. |

YES is at #45 in the midweeks so maybe if sales are steady maybe a top 40 debut?

I sincerely doubt she's going to get a Top 40 debut unfortunately, Spotify data is missing as well.
In fact, I really hope I'm being pessimistic because I think you can sometimes tell if a song is going to be a hit or not upon release or not, but I can't see this going Top 40 even ...  I am so willing to be proved wrong!

It’s getting good Capital and Kiss AirPlay, but unless it starts improving on iTunes soon. They’ll drop it before Radio 1 gets round to playing it.

Bit worried that it’s not on Hot Hits UK yet.
Spotify have been super quick recently with newies. Most big releases from Friday are already on the playlist. |

I'd prefer if you guys didn't post your invalid and incorrect opinions, but hey ho!
Seriously though, still loving this and up until today it was pretty much the only thing I listened to on repeat and I only stopped coz I am listening to BJSC! 🙃 I don't think I'd be able to handle it if this did a 'Best Behaviour' Not only do the songs deserve better, but she really does too!

Did people really think a performance on Sunday Brunch or whatever it's called would generate sales? My Grandma, who watches it religiously every week and is part of a demographic that is a large part of the target audience, would not be going onto iTunes and grabbing a copy of "YES" - acoustic or not
(And 'acoustic' is certainly much more fitting for Sunday Brunch!)Come on you lot please be realistic! |
