It looks so STUNNING (but I wouldn't have expected anything less from the director of Crazy Rich Asians). Cannot wait for this. dance.gif

It's been bumped up to 11th June 2021, after getting pushed back a year last year due to Covid.

The reviews have been absolutely amazing for this. The performance at the US box office and HBO Max have been a huge disappointment though... not sure what went wrong!? Just hoping it can grow in hype like most musicals seem to do. It seems so feel good and summer to me.

Lets hope the international markets (who seem to be more accustom to musicals than the US always have been) are kinder to this. The UK numbers should be strong. It's pre-sales where I work seem solid! But UK is very reliant on weather. If it's a boiling and sunny weekend, no hope.

I guess we'll see. I'm hyped anyway.

Finally saw this yesterday and I loved it. The only criticism I had with the movie was that it was a bit overlong and could've done with being about 15 mins shorter for a tighter story, but everything else was great. Such a great, feel good Summer movie!

The title track, '96,000', 'When You're Home', 'Carnaval Del Barrio' & I love 'Breathe' too! Such a talented cast. The soundtrack single 'Home All Summer' is a firm Summer fave for me, obsessed wub.gif
