Will Ed Sheeran occupy the top 3 positions in the singles chart, his latest track 'How Would You Feel (Paean)' is looking to be a big hit, also with his BRITs performance later in the week. Take That also release a new single this week titled 'Giants' to be performed later tonight on BBC1 reality series 'Let It Shine' other new entries from Kygo & Selena Gomez 'It Ain't Me', Sia 'Helium', LINKIN PARK & Kiiara 'Heavy', Galantis 'Rich Boy', All Time Low 'Dirty Lanudry', and DJ Khaled feat. Beyoncé & JAY Z 'Shining'. And new peaks for Anne-Marie with 'Ciao Adios and James Arthur 'Safe Inside'. In the albums, Rag'N'Bone Man should easily keep the #1 album for a second week, other notable new albums from Amy MacDonald 'Under Stars', Ryan Adams 'Prisoner' and Future 'FUTURE'. Expect old albums to climb back up the chart this week due to the BRITs show transmitted on Wednesday night on ITV1 Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

shower the oats, I'm done
Still unsure if it'll become a big hit. It sounds expensive but it's not that instant. New Take That track is poorer than I had hoped/expected. |

Can see Take That missing the top 20 despite being top 10 on sales, similar to Cry.

I hope physicals can help Take That go high as their streaming is extremely poor Their streaming is incredible TBH - #59 on Spitify greatly helped by being the 5th track on 'New Music Friday'. They achieved 86k in streams so potentially 550 stream sales for yesterday. |

They're 59.... I assumed that you meant they're #59 on today's chart update but they're actually #59 on Spotify. That's incredible considering one of their past members does nothing at all on streaming. I can see them going top 20 on Friday This post has been edited by Hadji: 18th February 2017, 05:12 PM |

I'm looking forward to the chart update this afternoon. It could be the first time I've bought all the singles in the top 5 since about 1985! That's assuming Katy Perry can make the top 5 though Zayn and Taylor Swift look more likely to be number 5...

She might sneak in at the end of the week with Brits/video happening this week, but I can see her being more like 8/9 in this update. |

Some mids info for later; New Ed is a few sales behind Shape at #1. Castle is at #5, just behind Take That. Katy's down to 8.

A seventh week at the top for "Shape Of You" looks assured.
The fact "Castle On The Hill" is down at #5 leaves the Top 3 Ed wipeout still in the balance but there will still be the boost from Ed's Performance at the Brits on Wednesday night - think he will probably still pull it off this week! |
