Most Underrated - Yes
Best Soundtrack - No (I just feel as that can be done in a separate topic like how the best song each year is done) Best Body of work - No (Would be difficult for me) Best Performance In A Film You Disliked No -(See Above) Best Documentary Film - No (Dont watch them personally) Best Movie - Yes Best Special Effects (There is visual effects do we really another :lol;) Best Editing and Cinematography - YES Best Adaption Of A Book - YES although can it not be changed to similarly how the BAFTAS does it 'Best Adapted Screenplay' as to me having it to only books limits it slightly |

Bump! Just under half the categories are currently 50/50 split so would like some more votes to split them! <3
(5 of the 11 categories have 4:4 ties!) |

Best Adaption Of A Book - YES although can it not be changed to similarly how the BAFTAS does it 'Best Adapted Screenplay' as to me having it to only books limits it slightly Just to clarify, this is what I meant when I suggested it! Not limited to books, just a source material of some kind. (voted ;o) |

Best Special Effects (There is visual effects do we really another :lol;) Let me ask you this, using a classic film that utilises both, concerning whether both are deserving of their own award Jurassic Park - Visual FX - Some people sat at a computer creating CGI images of a T.Rex, super-imposed via a green screen against real life actors. Utterly deserving of praise in its own right and can be key to a film's success or defining style (see Sin City) Special FX - That T.Rex head shot/close up is a fully working animatronic skull with mechanically operated parts that if used incorrectly could potentially kill or injure an actor. To me that is a greater achievement than any CGI and far more believable on screen (see Mad Max: Fury Road) |
