The singer has been chosen as responsible for interpreting the official song of this year’s Sport Relief, which is an acoustic version of the album’s deluxe edition bonus “Running“. The track written and produced by Bay himself has been re-recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios and this new version serves as a charity single to support this event. They want a song that will get attention and be something that is out of the ordinary. This song is something that is pretty expected from this kind of artist.

It'll go down well when performed too because this kind of song resonates well with the British public. Sam Smith's one went to #1 for two weeks last year, Jess Glynne's ballad was a massive hit too for Children In Need, so that speaks volumes I think. By comparison, Little Mix's Word Up! spent just two weeks top 40.
