It's occurred to me that within this vast forum there's a number of active members who aren't involved presently in BJSC.

When you consider this week's Top 20 Poster's Chart, there's a few people to consider getting involved in this event!

Catderella/Pavel is a regular in BJSC and Andrew has participated a few times! although yes, cqmerqn seems like the next obvious person to join!

Idk if incentives can be done tbh, I believe bjsc to be one of those things you either want to do or you don't and it does take a little bit of a commitment I guess to establish your nation, come up with songs monthly and vote within the time frames given and that's not everyone's cup of tea. I imagine these top posters are hella aware of bjsc since they frequent the site so much, they just don't have an interest for it

Yeah - can't see Cameron joining. I wrote him a step-by-step guide on how to join BJSC and he still didn't

We have neither the need nor desire to actively recruit participants. If people want to join, they will.

Think about it this way - the more countries join, the less chance of us qualifying.

it would be great if cqmerqn did join but to be fair to him, it does take a lot of time to wrap your head around the rules of the contest and how to do well in it.

At least 4 potential new countries to participate.

What can be done as an incentive to bring in more participants?
