Wow, so Rita Ora did actually release her second album in the end.
I kinda didn't believe that would happen until I saw it, she almost became the woman who cried album. |

Quite shocked Cheryl is still 99p I am pretty shocked by this aswell, Probably cost her not staying top 40 this week not making it 59p. I imagine the lower price along with x factor maybe of give it the extra sale boost to stay top 40 even if it was low 39/40. Of course I don't know how far behind she is from being in top 40 sales wise but am sure being 59p instead of 99p could of only of helped its boost. I mean I don't like the song at all but I don't mind Cheryl, But you'd think her label would be a little smarter seeing it drop out top 40 of the official charts after just the one week. I think she's got promo lined up the end of the month so maybe it will be lowered to 59p next week, I think that maybe a little to late to bring it back top 40 at that stage but we will see. |

Shallow should stay top 5 with such a weak release schedule for a while. What a smash (until it hits ACR obv)!

It's so sad to see we're well into Q4 and the release schedule is looking so weak in terms of future hits.

Never saw Tom Odell coming, but I think he probably be overhauled by Jess Glynne over the weekend. I see Ariana has dropped a fair bit on Streams, so I reckon Christmas #1 for her is out of the equation, it can be anybody, its there for the taking unless something big drops between now and Christmas. At a push I would say top 15, for Tom at the moment, really depends how far he drops over the weekend.

So songs manage to get to #1 on iTunes with absolutely no pre-discussion/hype on here, really shows what iTunes has come to Great to see Tom Odell at the top though, even if it isn't If You Wanna Love Somebody

I imagine when Ariana drops the music video (She's been teasing alot on twitter) it may boost streams again, Whether or not be enough for her to hold out to Christmas I dont know. But now video streams are counted to sales I think sales off the video views will give her an healthy boost, How long that boost last for I don't know, I would imagine the video to get big views though. |
