If I do acts with just girls in a song I get 9 weeks.
Lily Allen - The Fear - 4 weeks Lily Allen - Everyone's At It - 1 week Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You - 1 week The Saturdays - Just Can't Get Enough - 3 weeks but if i count girls featuring in songs I get my last 18 number 1's in 25 weeks. My longest male only run is 2 weeks with or without female inclusion. It's quite shameful really. |

All of my #1s so far have been male, and 've planned two #1s for the next two weeks (my charts are a week late) and they're both male too.
It will probably be a while before I have a female #1. Actually, to be totally honest, my four top fives so far have featured only two acts containing at least one female (Crystal Fighters and Tinchy Stryder feat.  but the longest streak of number 1's that involves a female is 6. I'm pretty sure the majority of my #1s have been male-led.
I remember YYYs being at #1 with Zero and I guess that would count as female due to Karen O being the lead singer. Other than that, I can't think of any other females that have been #1 on my chart!

Oh dear LOL. I have 24 female artists going to #1 in a row, meaning 50 weeks of female #1's in a row.
In fact the only #1 singles to feature male artists i have are Chris Brown - With You (3 Weeks) Natasha Bedingfield feat Sean Kingston - Love Like This (2 Weeks) Jordin Sparks feat Chris Brown - No Air (4 Weeks) Alphabeat - Boyfriend (1 Week) 10/81 weeks have featured male artists at #1 71/81 weeks have been all female at #1 |
