Wow, 5 years doesn’t feel that way!
I was so happy when this got released and it was a stomper with a capital S. One of my favorite Steps songs! Grateful they sorted their problems and we got great material like this. I never in a million years thought that that would happen! And to be spoiled with even more great songs/the band seem to have genuine fun is an even bigger bonus. Not a lot of pop bands get a second chance like this. |

5 years of consistent great music once again. When i heard Steps were reforming and recording a brand new album i was over the moon but i was expecting an ok album with a couple of good songs and the rest filler, i never expected them to return with such a strong album and to be fair they couldn't have done much better than they did as i thought it was the perfect comeback album. Then of course what the future holds came along especially part 2 and topped it for me.

Steps would have felt a lot of pressure recording this album as it was make or break for them relating to the reformed band.
That said, I like to believe when they finished the album they knew they had somethinh great to offer the fans. |

What a triumphant return this was. Strange that it feels like so much longer and shorter than 5 years.

SUCH a sensational comeback indeed, I honestly cannot believe how well it has gone for them, really has elevated their pop legacy.

Def a triumphant return, sometimes it feels like they were never away and then other times I clearly remember they were away for a long time but they really came back as strong as they could.

No More Tears On The Dancefloor is epic, I still can't understand why it wasn't a single!

No More Tears On The Dancefloor is great i agree, much better than dancing with ab roken heart which was a poor choice of single.

I agree with Dancing With A Broken Heart being a poor choice as single, but sadly I'm not sure any of the songs from the Tears On The Dancefloor re-release were good choices as singles. There were however still good choices left on the original album. (Happy & I Will Love Again, maybe even Glitter & Gold).

I don't think any of the re-release songs were even that good, let alone good choices. |

I loved Beautiful Battlefield but wasn’t keen on any of the others. Dear Santa was appalling and Fool for You was a 3/10 at best.
