QUOTE
As several sites reported in the past few days, Romania will have their national final on 8 March. The submission process will open in a few days, on 26 January.

TVR confirmed to escXtra.com that composers and artists can send their entries to TVR starting this Monday. Submission will be open until 8 February. Interested artists and composers can send their entries to eurovision@tvr.ro or through the TVR website.

On 9, 10 and 11 February, TVR will then hold a jury audition, where the eventual participants for the national final will be determined. The following day, on 12 February, the participants will be announced to the public. A total of twelve entries will compete to fly the Romanian flag in Vienna. The actual national final will then take place on 8 March.

Ovi & Paula Seling represented Romania in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. After qualifying for the final as runners-up, the duo and their song Miracle eventually finished in twelfth place in the grand final.

They’re one of the latest countries to reveal anything this year, but now we know. Romanian broadcaster TVR have just revealed the twelve names taking part in their national final. And yes, there are familiar names!
The most familiar name is 2005 Eurovision entrant Luminita Anghel. Also interesting is Swedish band CEJ, who have members who were all previously part of a well known group: Rednex!

The list of twelve entrants:

Rodica Aculova – My Light
Luminita Anghel – A Million Stars
Ovidiu Anton – Still Alive
Baietii – Dragoste In Lanturi
Blue Noise – Love Won’t Run Away
CEJ – We Were In Love
Lara Lee – Superman
Alexa & Aurelian Temisan – Chica Latina
Super Trooper – Secret Place
Tudor Turcu – Save Us
Cristina Vasiu – Nowhere
Voltaj – De La Capat

The Romanian national final will take place on 8 March. Which of these acts are you most looking forward to?

Voltaj win! I wonder if they'll send the Romanian version or the English version, the latter's music video was released just a few days ago...

Having just listened to the English version I really like this one! Felt like it ended a bit abruptly though.

This is quite cute actually, plus it's Romania so it's guaranteed to be through anyway.

Eurovision.tv have just uploaded the English version to YouTube, so I assume that's the version they have decided on?

I think they've cut it down a bit as I think it was a little over 3 minutes, I really like it - the message is very powerful and the video enhances it.

This is a really strong song and has such good feeling behind it. Could do rather well for them, they're really outclassing their neighbours this time (for once) so would completely deserve their final space this year.
