Hey Jim!
Miracle is fab. I heard it in work not knowing who or what it was before I saw the video and inkegit thought it was a song from the early 00's. It's great. So good to see hypnotized do well for you. I was hoping her new album would be full of bangers like this. Ghosts again is great. Depeche mode have always been good for me. Just not quite what I usually chart but this is great. Borderline is great as well and would have sounded great in her last album. I'm excited to hear what she does next but honestly the last couple of the years are Tove Lo's best for me. Lovely new peak for over. Chvrches are a band I'm always loved. It's so good for them to be so consistent I think. I love them. Ceiling is lovely! Is be here for this to become an official #1. Temples already have a new song out after cicada but I can't remember the name of it. They're not someone I usually listen to but their new one is good. River is superb. It's hit me instantly whereas flowers took a wee while to grow on me. Rush is great as well. Such a refreshing sound on the official chart. Fantastic chart this week |

Hey there Jim hope you’re having a good week so far.
Ooh great to see ‘Wide Eyes’ entering *.* that has reminded me that I need to post a new EOY section, will do as soon as I get the chance. Also liking the new entries from Calvin/Ellie, Miley and especially Temples - that will definitely be climbing for me this week. Looking forward to the album after enjoying ‘Gamma Rays’ and now this so much! Other highlights include: LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER (glad it didn’t take too long for me to vote for you in BJSC!), Röyksopp, Depeche Mode, THUS LOVE, Sky Ferreira, Tove Lo, The Weeknd, Lana, Wet Leg, Phoenix, Joanie (*.* pleased that you appreciated this!), ROSALÍA, Nyteout, Vandal Moon, AEXHY, yunè pinku aaaand Hatchie. Phew, amazing chart! |

Glad you like all of those! Miracle was instant for me, I love that trance sound from back in the day. Hypnotized is one I'd only listened to recently and it's infectiously great - I particularly enjoy the way she sings "Hypnoti-Zed" and the spiralling production. I didn't have huge expectations for Ghosts Again at first, but it's gone on to become my favourite Depeche Mode song since... probably the 90s at this point Borderline and Over are perhaps not the most innovative songs either act have done, but I don't care when they're as immaculately produced as this. ceilings - I've had days when it passed me by a little, but other days when it's absolutely hit me - it's beautifully written. I hadn't heard anything by Temples until recently, but Cicada is sounding really good. Afterlife is their new one, it's on New Music Friday today. I like the 80s vibes on River. The Ayra Starr one had been bubbling under my chart for a while, like Libianca's did before, but I think it could go higher for me. Thank you, that's great to read Hey there Jim hope you’re having a good week so far. Phew, amazing chart! Hey Jade, I am thanks, hope you're having a good week too! Wide Eyes is a great discovery for me thanks to your EOY - I also first noticed Cicada in your chart, so that was another good find! Glad you approve of so many others *.* a few more from your EOY as I mentioned over there. Repetitioner also stuck with me from either your chart or Bré's playlist, and it may not have peaked for me yet. There's also a few from BJSC of course! I gave Less Than Zero and Angelica a run in my chart even though I already knew of them as I hadn't given them much attention before - I'd been hoping the former would become a single, but I guess the Die For You remix has killed that off. I almost charted Hatchie's new one too, maybe I will in a later week. Thank you, that's great to read Hi there! Nice to see "Over" get a new peak and the debut for "Miracle". Great chart! Hi Sergej! Lots of love for Miracle, I sense a new multichart #1 coming on soon! Thank you, that's great to read |
