I must admit, a lot of that winner prediction is going off of it doing what Ghost did and the feeling that drum and bass has the potential to be one of the widest-reaching genres in BJSC IF a big song like that shows up, which it does only occasionally.
I have what feels like much stronger reasons to discount all of the other contenders than I do Black Church, Aeroche won't get one side of the court excited, Land Of DW won't get another, Cor Lupus and St Burbia don't feel strong enough. Maybe I'm wrong (and if I'm thinking of reasons why songs won't win before why they will that's an indication that this predicting lark is all a sham this month) but that's my gut feeling. |
