Tory Lanez has officially been convicted of all three charges against him in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He has been found guilty of the following charges:

1. Assault with a semi-automatic handgun
2. Carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle
3. Discharging a firearm with gross negligence

He faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and 8 months in prison. and also the possibility of being deported back to Canada. I don't know when sentencing is, but I hope it's ASAP.

Oh that's great news!

They won't but I hope it means everyone will leave Megan tf alone! She's had such a rough time during all of this, especially when some of her peers were commenting on/rapping about it like they were there with them and fuelling the hate she got even more.

He still has a surprising amount of support, which is really sad to see.

Tory Lanez has had significantly less success since this incident though. Yes he'll always have his fans (although let's hope for a nice long prison sentence and him not being able to release more music because it's always been largely garbage anyway) but this has ended him as a mainstream acceptable name. 6ix9ine and X aren't really comparable because their controversies predated their first hits.

happy for meg, hope she's ok and all the people who attacked her take a long hard look at themselves. also hope drake feels embarassmet for the flop album of his, though i know he won't.
