Series 1 had the better winner but series 2 felt better as a whole. Like they were more confident in what they were doing.

Series 2 did feel more confident and the twists all worked (eg Richard Madley/ Joyce), also the rankings were sorted out in a better way as well.

I think my preference is just down to Alex/ Kate winning biggrin.gif

Hmm, I think Series 2 was better than Series 1, purely because they knew what they were doing this time! (That’s already been said though). I did prefer the characters this year and there were a lot more ‘OMFG’ moments.

We can only blame Sammie/James' game play for the winner being Paddy. If Ella hadn't been blocked the winner would have been different.

I'd say 1 as well, but again it's probably because a catfish who perfected the game won and that felt like the only possible ending that would have been so great. This time had an underwhelming ending not just with the winner but also because of the fact that there was no drama when Sammie was revealed, whereas Dan finding out Alex was Kate was possibly the best moment of Series 1. I also preferred it without the live shows tbh, but Series 2 felt much more polished and together, with the twists etc. as well making things a bit different to last time.

Georgina robbed of first place and having to settle for second again </3

Can only agree with thoughts in here, Paddy is a great guy but certainly an underwhelming winner compared to the other finalists. Was really hoping and pushing for Georgina in the end. Thrilled Tim was recognised in the public vote though, what an amazing reality TV casting.

This is such an incredible concept though and really is the true sucessor to Big Brother whilst that is off air. It’s one of the most (weirdly) genuine reality shows too I feel, there were a lot of bonds created between them all and I hope they all flourish into true friendships on the outside. I still cannot get over Georgina and Brooke’s random $l*t drops laugh.gif

I may be in the minority but I like the live shows! Less so when it was random celebrity guests but when the players had the opportunity it gave an insight into them and their thinkingand worked well imo

Yeah I wasn’t a fan of the live shows at the beginning, but really enjoyed them once they took on board viewers comments!

Series 1 had a much better finale and the right characters were there till the end too
I did stan Aiden though sad.gif Freddie was awful but did deserve to be there till the end.
The part where they all met too was much better last year.

This year was stepped up and I really loved some characters and found others so entertaining. But the final just fell so flat. I wanted more spark and more drama at the meeting and then the winners were my personal least favourites too.

QUOTE(Liаm @ Oct 19 2019, 02:58 PM) *
Apparently the US version has already been filmed so Netflix should be getting it fairly soon! I'm not that fussed it isn't live to be honest, the only things we really voted on last series other than viewers' champion were pretty inconsequential although I did like us voting on twists etc. this series. It's still gonna be the same in terms of the format and the suspense of meetings etc. so that's all good!

I'm not shocked that the US season is picking up momentum following the UK Season. This was a highly marketable and successful season.
We have a strong catfish with James/Sammie. Strong messages of embracing who you are with Ella and Woody. Very likeable characters with diversity in Georgina and the eventual winner, Paddy.

I see Netflix putting a lot of focus on Reality TV recently and this could be their next big thing like Nailed It.
Cheap to produce, you will have multiple countries wanting to pick up the format. I hope Netflix does this well, because I don't see this surviving on a network like CBS at all.

Amazing series, I'm just glad Tim didn't win the main prize, it was getting boring him always being the influencer and top etc. I did like him though and am glad he won the public vote.

I don't get the Paddy hate in here I thought he was fab!

I've been watching series 1 on All 4 and I'm currently up to episode 14 and it has been good so far but in my opinion series 2 was leaps and bounds above it. Series 1 seems to centre heavily around who fancies who or who they find to be attractive. The participants in series 2 seemed to have a lot more depth than they did in series 1 and the cliffhangers and twists were a lot better recently. Hannah in particular from series 1 was as one dimensional as they come!
