With the new Eurovision season (properly, Georgia, Belarus and Albania don't exist) kicking off with the UK deciding on Friday, we're adding a new Eurovision mod.

He's already a well-known and active member of that part of the site, but welcome to the main forum mod team AdamAloud!

We have another change in the Eurovision mod team and since it's been so soon since this last topic I'm going to bump this one and reuse it. Topic recycling.

Sadly, the much-loved Qassandra is stepping down from his position in Eurovision here, having had life catch up with him too much. Every Eurovision regular will have fond memories of his excellent commentaries to go alongside Eurovision and Melodifestivalen, he does promise to still be around for Eurovision things but not in a mod capacity.

Therefore, to join Ryan and Adam, we've finally made LexC a mod in a position I know he's been champing at the bit for for quite a while. I happen to know he and the others are already planning some GREAT things for that area of the forum so be sure to check them out as the warmup to May continues to build hype.

IT'S ABOUT T Thank you, adoring public! Pretty sure it was that 2400 word essay about why Italy isn't winning that clinched it for me.

Sad for this to have to be at the expense of Tirren/Mama Qass standing down rather than finally being able to take out Ryan. Those are big shoes to try and fill but I will do my utmost to keep the Eurovision forum as fabulous a place as he helped make it!
