I must admit I’m really enjoying Galaxy, I didn’t like it back in 2007.

I skipped straight to Sunshine because I'ved played Mario 64 about 100 times and don't think I've touched Sunshine since about 2003. It looks and controls worse than I remember but it's still quite fun nonetheless, if more difficult than I recall finding it at the age of 16! Looking forward to going through Galaxy again.

I’m getting this as soon as I get back home. I didn’t finish Galaxy on the Wii but I remember it being great

I’ve gone straight to Galaxy and have completed the main story, is it me or is the game really easy? There’s hardly been any levels that I’ve found frustrating or tough.
I’m up to about 90 stars so far and wanting to reach whatever the hidden world is! |

I’ve been doing some of those and they also seem quite easy? Admittedly only 3 so far though

They're notoriously bloody hard, so perhaps you're just a whizz at it

There's nothing really outrageously hard in the game (unless you go for self-imposed challenges) from what I remember from playing it to death when it came out but a few of the purple coin stars are tricky, most notably the Toy Time and Ghostly galaxy ones. A couple of them also spread the coins over a huge area so it might take a while to find them all but they're not 'difficult' per se (the hardest of these for me was Freezeflame where there's an easily missable coin right near the start in a place you wouldn't immediately think to look). The second 'blow up the trash' star was also pretty frustrating for me at the time, I think it took me like 20 attempts on my first playthrough
It's not really known for being a difficult game, Galaxy 2 was a bit harder iirc (at least to get 100% in it). |

I got the second trash one first time!!! Just got the battle rock purple coins on second attempt, can imagine that one could have been potentially v annoying though |

So I've got all the stars now and have been rewarded with starting all over again as Luigi - there's no way I'm doing it all again!
Luigi's Purple Coins was one of the more difficult ones - although it wasn't too bad once I realised you don't really have to rush. The one that irritated me the most was the purple coins on the Battletrock one - it must have taken about 20 attempts as I kept missing one or two! |

It's finally happening! 64, Sunshine and Galaxy are releasing together on Switch as 'Super Mario 3D All-Stars'! Out on September 18th digitally, with a physical version out later soon. Bizarrely it'll only be available before the end of March 2021. Hyped! YAY!!!!1 |

I've been so engrossed with Lego Harry Potter collection, I've decided I'll ask for this for Christmas so I can focus on that

I loved the first Lego Harry Potter game, it was really well done - although it glitched at the end and I was stuck with a game that was 99% complete
The second one was okay but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't feature the same scale as the first one had. |

This has had an update to add inverted controls as an option, to make the games mirror the controls of the originals. I didn't find it a big issue when replaying Mario 64, but there was always something off about the controlling and precision of FLUDD's water jets in Mario Sunshine before this patch was applied, so I'm glad it's been rectified. Gamecube controller support for Sunshine has also been added.
