I thought there might already be a thread on him but it seems not.

He's already had a bit of exposure on the new Calvin Harris album and a big US hit with "Location". He's also currently on the Radio 1XTRA playlist with a new version of his track "Young Dumb & Broke" which also features Rae Sremmurd and Lil Yachty. Really enjoying both of these at the moment!

Young Dumb & Broke seems to be doing pretty well in the charts now, up to #21 officially now and likely Top 20 next week.

I really hope 8Teen is the next single. It's the best on the album for me.

I'm amazed that 'Location' never charted here, it seems the biggest Khalid song so far.

Yeah seeing Young, Dumb & Broke getting so big here really makes me wonder why Location never took off, it sounds way more like a hit tbh

A remix of 'Location' featuring Jorja Smith and Wretch 32 has been released - a sign this will be pushed in the UK!

Bit annoying that Location is being pushed as a single again now, haven’t heard the remix yet but I doubt it will beat the original. Saved or American Teen would do well as singles I think to follow up on YDB’s success. But no, Location again

Kindaaa is they wouldn’t push Location again cus there’s quite a few single-worthy songs left on his album, but I’m not gonna complain if it’s a hit again tbh, haven’t heard the new version yet though

Very good remix I agree, Jorja and Wretch both add something different to the track. I can understand why they've pushed 'Location' here again - it wasn't a hit at all I don't think, but the problem for me is that this is such a 2017 song I can't get too into it again.

You say that, but it's actually sold ~296k as of this week, although probably only like a few thousand of those are actual sales. Makes sense to re-push it though seeing as it's proven to be a hit with Spotify users.
