8th: Thor: The Dark World
Another sequel falling now, and this time a really good one, in my opinion. I never thought this to win, as it has too many imperfections, but I expected it to no finish 5th or 6th maybe. Tom's dynamic characterisation and wit at Loki really shines in this movie, and elevates it from a 3/5 to a 4/5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one sequel to watch out for, however, as, despite its predecessor falling early, it's the only film here to have never received a vote in any round.
Films which incurred votes this round (1 film received 0 votes):Thor: The Dark World - 7
Iron Man - 6
Iron Man 3 - 5
Thor - 3
Avengers: Age of Ultron - 2
Guardians of the Galaxy - 1
Marvel's The Avengers / Avengers Assemble - 1
8th Thor: The Dark World
9th - Captain America: The First Avenger
10th - Iron man 2
11th - The Incredible Hulk
UGH UGH UGH, Thor 2 is brilliant
Anyway that makes this round easy: Iron Man
Guardians of the Galaxy
Blockbusters
You're all WRONG with that elimination. So, SO wrong.
Iron Man 3
Ugh... Thor 2
Voted, Iron Man 3
As long as 'Iron Man 3' leaves before the first, I will be content with that!
I just CAN'T at BJ's shoddy MCU tastes tbh.
Now I'll target the 'Iron Man' movies, starting with the first.
To be fair, The Dark World wasn't as good as the first one imo. It's where I first started realising how samey these films are getting. I'm gonna go for Iron Man 3, it was OKAY at best.
Iron Man
Iron Man 3 again.
Iron Man 3
Avengers: Age of Ultron again!
I haven't seen Capt. America Winter Soldier so would feel bad voting it as by most accounts it's among the best 2. For that reason - Iron Man 3 - Had to use wikipedia just to remember the 'plot'.
It's rather ironic that Stark is easily my favourite of the Avengers and yet all the Iron Man films, bar the first one, suck.
Closing in a few hours if anyone else wants to get votes in.
