BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ 2019 Predictions

Posted by: danVember Nov 16 2018, 03:30 PM

what songs do you expect will really take off in the new year?

let's start with the obvious, 'Sweet But Psycho' will be top 10 by January.

I expect Billie Eilish will have a big year too, 'When The Party's Over' will set her up well for her next single to be a big top 10 and her album will do well.

Lewis Capaldi 'Grace' or Tom Grennan 'Found What I've Been Looking For' could be the big 'indie' hit of Q1. lovelytheband 'Broken' could potentially be a late crossover hit too as that's doing well in the US.

Rihanna to finally come back with new music next year and get a multi-week #1 too.

Posted by: Buttered Muffin Nov 16 2018, 03:33 PM

Rihanna will flop.

Breathe in. Breathe out...

Posted by: WhoOdyssey Nov 16 2018, 05:58 PM

I bloody hope Broken does well over here, it's so good!

I predict The 1975 will have their first UK top 10 with their next album (and it might be a collab).

I think the Arctic Monkeys will release another album sometime next year, which will return to their indie rock sound, and headline Glasto 2020.

I think Nathan Dawe's Cheatin' and Kygo's Happy Now could potentially takeoff as well.

Posted by: SLlewellyn Nov 16 2018, 06:03 PM

Tom Grennan’s “Found What I’ve Been Looking For” has already been re-released, and spent two week sun the T100 as a result; I really can’t see it coming back round a third time (at least not via R1’s support).

Posted by: Cqmerqn Nov 16 2018, 06:25 PM

Stormzy will have a #1 single

Posted by: dobbo Nov 16 2018, 06:35 PM

Bicep will get their first top 40.

Posted by: Klaus Nov 16 2018, 07:45 PM

Marina will release an album #promo

Posted by: dj_tim_e Nov 16 2018, 07:46 PM

ABBA could have a monster hit...
If they ever release the new material

Posted by: T Boy Nov 16 2018, 07:48 PM

Dido will get a top 10 blink and you’ll miss it album when she should be huge.

The charts will continue to be awful.

Posted by: SKOB Nov 16 2018, 08:38 PM

Broken has only done very well on airplay in the US, doubt that it'd be any bigger streaming hit (if hit at all) in Europe.

Yes to Billie Eilish, Adele will return and Gaga release a new album. Can Madonna get some success too? The fado influences interest me.

Posted by: Suedehead2 Nov 16 2018, 08:42 PM

Ten Tonnes (George Ezra's brother) will have a hit single and album.

Posted by: cantthinkofaname Nov 17 2018, 10:37 AM

Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” has serious hit potential and is currently climbing the itunes chart in the US. Could be big in 2019!

Sigala featuring Kylie Minogue maybe her next top 40 hit......

Posted by: The Snake 🐍 Nov 17 2018, 03:34 PM

I don't know about artists, but in terms of chart trends:

There may be more tech house and deep house hits in 2019 following the success of 'In My Mind' and also the popularity of producers such as Camelphat this year.

US urban music will still cross over a lot into the UK chart, there will be less UK urban hits though.

I can't see him pushing anything else from Brighter Days now tbh.

I'd like to be wrong though.

Posted by: danVember Nov 17 2018, 03:40 PM

nah I reckon we'll continue to get a load of UK urban hits. it'll be a big year for Dave and Stormzy particularly.

Posted by: Bjork Nov 17 2018, 04:25 PM

pop seems to be recovering a bit, hope urban dominates less
but doesn't seem like indie/alt is doing very well in any front

2019 could be Ariana's year judging but how popular Thank You Next has been

guess we should see the return of Rihanna, Bieber, Beyonce

Posted by: RockafellerSkank Nov 18 2018, 02:34 AM

The first week will be steps at number one followed by fatboy slim then 911 then after that, the offspring, Armand van helden, blonde, Lenny kravitz.

Posted by: DexTheHalls Nov 18 2018, 02:58 AM

I can honestly see Ariana’s next album being bigger than Rihanna or Beyoncé’s comebacks

Strange that 2019 will be 4 years since Justin Bieber’s last album ;o Although he hasn’t exactly gone anywhere with Cold Water/Let Me Love You/Im The One/Despacito/2U/No Brainer laugh.gif

Posted by: Bjork Nov 18 2018, 08:33 AM

I think CamelPhat are the new dance dons tbf. Nice to have another act up there as it’s pretty much been Calvin, MK, Jonas Blue, Jax Jones on repeat with the odd flutter of another dance track. CamelPhat have proved with Panic Room and Cola that there’s room for their take on dance and their new one Breathe certainly seems to be heading towards being one of the next big tracks hopefully.

Posted by: Jamie Barkley Nov 18 2018, 07:30 PM

If they release new material next year I would expect to see Number One singles from Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars.
Shawn Mendes will have another 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' type hit just before he goes on tour again.
Ellie's album will peak between #6 and #10.

Crikey that Leave Me Alone track is dire.

Posted by: Scene Nov 27 2018, 06:42 PM

9 tips for '19:

ONE: Adele will release nothing.

TWO: Beyonce will release a less successful/worse rated album then her previous two.

THREE: Rihanna's lead single will reach #1.

FOUR: Dua will launch DL2 between July and September.

FIVE: Ariana will gain another #1 through a feature.

SIX: The LM5 era will end abruptly and Little Mix will head back to the studio.

SEVEN: Lady Gaga makes a triumphant pop return.

EIGHT: JLS announce reunion (depending on the court verdict).

NINE: Ava Max blows up.

Are we still expecting big things from Rihanna? Next year she will be 13 years since her first release. Will there not be a time soon when she becomes less relevant to the GP due to her age etc? Britney was well past it in 2012

Are the success of Soundtracks due to low sales these days or have they always been a huge success? The late 50s saw a big boom in them and I imagine album sales were low then too?

Yes Aladdin and especially The Lion King are bound to do some damage to the charts. Wouldn't be surprised to see either Can You Feel The Love or Circle Of Life top the chart even given the huge nostalgia factor (as well as the names involved).

Have one big hit then struggle to get any follow up hits excluding one big feature??

I think it's likely for Ava Max to at least get a second hit at this point though, 'Sweet But Psycho' has been bigger than 'Issues'.
i think the phrase for that is “one-hit wonder”, I just thought he meant the follow-up would be shit

I can see Ava doing a Mike Posner rather than a Julia Michaels: one huge hit (SBP), one minor follow-up hit and then nothing else onwards. Sweet But Psycho would set Ava up well but I don’t think her follow-up would have the same momentum.

Not sure about #1, but if she has a great song that might be a little more generic pop/MOR then I think she has an excellent chance of scoring a mainstream hit again.

Justin Bieber surely to return next year along with Adele, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd? Can't see Drake not popping up with something too.

Personally I am expecting quite a few more 'surprise' releases from the bigger artists as as long as the song is good, the marketing and social media goes through the roof far quicker than a traditional 'tease' release usually done by a lot of artists.

Posted by: HurtMyHands Dec 25 2018, 05:18 PM

Would love to see Leona capitalise on her relatively good exposure this year, and release something in Q1. Even just a moderately performing top 20 hit would be a great start.

Posted by: dobbo Dec 25 2018, 07:42 PM

Yeah surely The Weeknd is due a #1, he's probably the biggest artist yet to have one here unless I'm forgetting someone obvious.

Posted by: smidsy101 Dec 25 2018, 08:36 PM

Yes, I can definitely see The Weeknd returning in the first half of the year, especially as he’s already teased that he’s working on new music. I can see Madonna having a similar performing album to Rebel Heart in Q1/Q2 and Rihanna has confirmed her next album will be out in 2019 and can see it performing better than ANTI did.

Posted by: Christmasteve201 Dec 25 2018, 09:04 PM

whatever fanbase she lost with Work she probably gained back with Love On The Brain and Wild Thoughts

Posted by: dancember Dec 25 2018, 09:20 PM

Rihanna is one of those people who could drop a song/album out of nowhere after ages and have tons of hype. I hope she does a sudden album drop in Q1 as she'll do insanely well on streams, go straight to #1 and get decent album sales too as she'll have very little competition.

Posted by: Tedward Dec 25 2018, 09:26 PM

Would also put her up pretty high on the year end chart as well

Posted by: CodySleighBell-y Dec 25 2018, 09:28 PM

I think the bigger question to ask is will ava get #1? I thought so but now wth everyone saying Mariah will get #1 this week, I’m thinking this week might be Ava’s last chance

Posted by: SKOB Dec 26 2018, 07:41 AM

ANTI didn't flop lol
It sold way over 100k copies despite the messy release (Tidal and Samsung deals). It was the third most streamed album of 2016 as well.

Posted by: Bjork Dec 26 2018, 08:15 AM

yes, the 1st week position for Anti in the UK is misleading cos of Tidal
with the current strength of streams, Work would have been #1 for ages

Posted by: Bjork Dec 26 2018, 08:17 AM

if The Weeknd returns soon, sure he'd get his first #1, considering how low sales are and the big advantage that urban artists have

I think the return of Rihanna will be interesting. It all depends on the material she releases. We've seen quite a few of the artists from the 00s (who were huge) struggle in the streaming era to have a big hit. Wonder if she might wheel out a big feature for the return or come back with a Calvin Harris dance banger.

Posted by: Klumpkin Dec 26 2018, 04:16 PM

I think Rihanna is still a massive name and will do very well unless she releases something very left-of-field. I think the fact she's not a fanbase act will only benefit her in the streaming era has she can still grab universal appeal depending on what sort of material she releases!

I'm feeling Ava Max won't be as big as some are predicting, we haven't really seen any personality behind Sweet But Psycho so far so she's still quite faceless to the public. She'd have to come up with another song just as strong as her debut to get a hit.

Selena Gomez and/or Demi Lovato to return with a big single.

Posted by: Petivity Dec 26 2018, 05:12 PM

Let's stick a load of predictions down in the hope that some will stick:

- Lewis Capaldi will get one Top 10 hit, another long-running Top 40 hit then never be heard of again
- The 1975 'It's Not Living (If It's Not With You) will give them their first Top 10 hit
- Rag'n'Bone man will make a grand return and get a low Top 40 out of it.
- There will be a point this year in which Drake plays some part in 6 songs all in the Top 100
- In the summer the OCC will do a complete rehaul of the charts and introduce the 10:1 ratio and 10 song cap a bunch of us have been banging on about for ages. ACR will go although not before a song falls from #1 to outside the Top 15 because of it.
- Post Malone's 'Sunflower' will avoid ACR like the plague
- Musicals will continue to do well and clog up the charts
- We'll never hear of Dalton Harris again

Posted by: Sid_ Dec 26 2018, 07:48 PM

Posted by: MÿrtleSnow Jan 5 2019, 08:38 PM

Is this the 2019 predictions thread?

If so then I'll go:

2019 will be make or break for Cardi B and I'm leaning towards break or this being the beginning of the end. Way I see it now, I expect a brief resurgence with the image being 'the scorned woman striking out on her own', but either the music won't be as catchy or Offset and co will go out to deliberately sabotage her and the amount of toes she's stepped on so far will bite her in the bum, OR she may take a break to look after her kid and her mental health. She does currently have connection to Bruno Mars and some other figures tho, so she will need to leverage those to actually make friends.
I still believe her record label/team are out to exploit her more than look after her so it totally depends who she surrounds herself with.

Rihanna will come back in say...June, and smash. She will be bang on trend with the first single but the album will be more experimental - if she releases one. She might instead go for a slew of features or something else unorthodox. She now has a rep as a trendsetter she'll want to keep.

Beyonce will have a quiet year and might have another kid. Solange will release something new though and Bey might do some collabs or maybe an EP, or a high-profile cover or soundtrack song.

Britney will take the whole year off.

Gaga will drop LG6 in either the spring or autumn to rave reviews.

Azealia Banks will finally drop that second album to critical appeal but will continue to get slammed in the media and strike back to everyone on twitter. Maybe she'll get a radio show or some kind of niche media place like Nicki's Queen radio or Katie Hopkins column.

Drake will continue to strike while the iron's hot but maybe go back a bit to his roots. I predict a high profile collab with The Weeknd, and would tip off-chance collabs with Jorja Smith again, and SZA.

Ed Sheeran will drop something new towards the end of the year, maybe a soundtrack single.

Adele will drop a pop and positive experimental album with some really high profile producers. It will not do as well as her previous releases but will still smash and get her a US and UK #1.

Tinashe will keep trying but not really going anywhere.

The Spice Girls reunion will not go wonderfully although whatever they put their names to will sell. (Unless its music) I can see them wading into politics and getting a big backlash.

Nicki will have a pretty bad 2019 and may take a hiatus +/ social media blackout.

Katy Perry will continue to slowly rebuild her positive image with the public and come back with a big pop power ballad in the autumn or early winter which will be a top ten hit, but not #1, and follow up with an album in spring 2020.

Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, Mabel, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Ariana, Anne-Marie and some rising stars from 2018 and 17 like Ava Max, maybe Sabrina Carpenter, Ella Eyre, Billie Eilish, and various of the grime artists that I don't recall the names of will have a decent year and moderate success.

M.O will try and make another comeback once that member gets out of prison but it Will Not Go Well.

Posted by: scratchy23 Jan 6 2019, 10:43 PM

Was going to make a 2019 predictions thread but this will certainly do!

My predictions...

1. Rihanna will return in the first half of the year & smash.
2. Ariana's album will be a surprise drop. We'll wake up one day and it'll just be there.
3. Ariana's album will come in Q1.
4. Beyonce will surprise drop another album
5. George Ezra will clean up at The Brits
6. Little Mix's remaining singles from LM5 will struggle, except for Wasabi which will do well
7. Lady Gaga's album will be pop and the fans will love it
8. Ed Sheeran will re-appear at the end of the year.
9. Ava Max will get at least one big (Feat. Ava Max) single, off the back of Sweet But Psycho's success
10. Charli XCX's album (which she's confirmed is happening) will inevitably flop sad.gif
11. Dua Lipa will have a quieter year

Here's hoping you're correct with your prediction of it being the beginning of the end.

My predictions (all based on the UK charts)

1. Arianas fifth album will break streaming records for most streams in a week by a female artist it will be her highest selling UK album.
2. Rihanna will then release her album what will come close to or break Arianas streaming record. It will be more of a commercial success than ANTi in the UK and will peak higher than #7. (Where ANTi peaked).
3. Beyoncé will surprise release an album what debuts at #1 but doesn’t sell as much as her past albums. The album will only be available via iTunes and physical sales and Tidal.
4. Lady Gaga will have another strong year. ASIB will remain in the top 40 for the majority of the year and her pop album will do better than both ARTPOP and Joanne in terms of longevity. Opening sales will be lower than ARTPOP however.
5. Madonna’s album will have critical acclaim and will go to #1 in the UK.
6. Bruno Mars will have the highest selling album by an international male.
7. The Weeknd will finally get a UK number one single.
8. Jessie J will feature on another artists single what will give her another UK hit.
9. Avril will release her best album in terms of quality but will only spend 4 weeks top 100.
10. Adele will dominate Q4 but will drop in sales from 25.
11. George Ezra will dominate the brits winning all major awards, Jess Glynne will win best female.
12. Rita’s Phoenix will remain top 40 most of the year between the 21-40 region. The album will spend longer than ORA in the charts despite its peak position.
13. Drake will achieve another #1 single but won’t release a full album or EP.
14. Tom Walker will have the highest selling debut album of the year by a male artist.
15. Ava Max will have another huge single.
16. Louisa Johnson still won’t release an album.
17. A Michael Jackson compilation album released in memory of ten years since his passing will go to #1.
18. A major artist will die at some point in the year causing their greatest hits to go to #1 and one of their biggest hits to trouble the top 20 on the singles chart.
19. P!nk will perform at Glastonbury and her tour will be a huge success causing her latest album to return to the charts as well as her greatest hits which will return to the top 40.
20. Chris Brown will have a fairly big year on the singles chart but his album won’t perform to well going top 10 based of high streams before falling out the top 75 after a month.
21. Cardi B will feature on many top ten singles as a featured artist but won’t go any higher than #25 on her own solo records or tracks where she is lead artist. Nicki will also achieve some top 40 hits as a feature but won’t achieve a top 40 hit where she is lead.
22. All 1D lads except Zayn will release an album. Harry’s will perform the best commercially and critically. Niall will outsell Liam.
23. Little Mix will announce break in Q4.
24. Didos album will go top 5 but no tracks will go top 75. The album will be a critical success.
25. Ed will try and become Christmas number one but won’t release a full album.

Posted by: danuary Jan 7 2019, 03:53 PM

Rihanna will surprise drop her album all at once before the end of Q2 which will get record first week streams for a female artist. One of the songs enters at #1 and spends a few weeks there.
Ed will release a 3 track EP, which will take up the UK's top 3 positions for a month. At least one of the tracks will have a big UK rapper on it (Stormzy or Dave).
Cardi B will get a #1 single, either as lead or featured artist. Nicki Minaj meanwhile has an off year.
Stormzy will get a #1 debut single upon his return.
If Adele returns her comeback single will break UK streaming records.
Little Mix will announce their hiatus following a LM5 repackage in Q4.
Calvin Harris has another big #1 single.
Dua Lipa returns with a #1.
Justin Bieber has a big comeback with two #1 singles.
Taylor Swift goes back to her country roots which results in her comeback missing #1, but it is still a reasonably sized hit and has more longevity than 'Look What You Made Me Do'.
Drake releases a 'mixtape'/ 'playlist' which gives him a few top 10s but he is held off #1 by another big release.
The Greatest Showman soundtrack refuses to ever leave the top 10.
The Weeknd, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar all have big eras.
Billie Eilish gets bigger and she gets a very big hit.

As for ex-1D members;
Harry Styles' comeback single will briefly make the top 20 on hype but it won't be Spotify friendly and won't last long. Album makes the top five but doesn't have much staying power.
Niall gets a big radio hit and the single spends a few weeks in the top 20. Album comes shortly after and makes top five. Subsequent singles underperform.
Liam's album eventually comes out and bombs, spending one week top 40. He gets one or two more top 40s from collaborations.
Zayn gets dropped following his album bombing and doesn't release anything of his own. He features on a soundtrack single or dance track that flops.
Louis continues to not release any music.
Reunion does not happen until 2020, when they (but probably not all five) will do a reunion tour/greatest hits album to mark ten years since their formation.

Posted by: ThePensmith Jan 7 2019, 04:03 PM

Yeah I'm gonna second on Little Mix announcing a break by the year's end. I'm also gonna say that Adele will release her new album this year - Q4, potentially Q3 to turn things on its head a little bit. I'm also gonna say that Kylie will enjoy a resurgence of some description post-Glastonbury.

I also think that the two new songs by ABBA - whenever they appear - will be far bigger than anyone anticipated, even with the delay it has had so far.

1. Ariana's album will be massive, but not critically acclaimed.
2. Cardi B's profile will get a lot smaller and she may not have any top 10 solo hits.
3. Miley Cyrus will release a new album along with a banger lead single and it'll outperform her last album.
4. Little Mix will have another top 10 hit, but a quiet year other than that.
5. Christina Aguilera will collaborate with a major artist, maybe Mark Ronson/David Guetta, and it'll do fairly well.

7. Adele will tease a release but'll end up waiting until early 2020.

Don't get why people seem to think Cardi B is going to underperform this year.
She's got a new song coming out with Bruno Mars and someone else soon which will no doubt be a big top 10 hit.
Just because 'Money' isn't doing too well doesn't mean she won't get more big hits.

A bit late but thought I might as well:

1. Rihanna will return with a giant #1 and an album which will sell poorly at first but have big longevity; the singles era will be cut short (the rest will underperform).
2. Stormzy will have a massive album campaign with his first top 5.
3. Beyoncé will return with solo music and have a few top 20 hits but the album will underperform.
4. Little Mix will struggle with the rest of their current era and will quickly start the next album campaign which will be massive (#1 album, single etc.).
5. Ariana's album will have outstanding streaming numbers and have decent longevity but the album will be heavily negatively received.
6. Miley Cyrus will have a critically acclaimed album but it will underperform.
7. Nicki Minaj's album will be critically panned and the era will be canned quickly.
8. Justin Bieber will return with a DJ collab that will be a slow burner hit; his album will be massive in Q4.
9. Ariana will collab with a male artist which will break streaming records.
10. the Spice Girls will have a flop single (due to streaming) but the album will have big pure sales.
11. Another musical will have big soundtrack success but not to the extent of The Greatest Showman
12. Cardi B will struggle to have another solo hit
13. Drake’s return will be big but muted compared to his past era
14. Adele will return with a completely different sound - massive success but not anywhere close to the past
15. Mabel will reach #1 with a later single and her album will perform moderately
16. Billie Eilish will snuggle for single success after the album release
17. Due Lipa will have a muted year and Ava Max will find success as a featured artist on a song
18. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga will return with pop albums which will be somewhat big with good longevity
19. None of the 1D boys will happen this year
20. Calvin Harris will drop a massive album with high profile collabs (ie. Drake, Ariana, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone etc.)
21. Sam Smith will have a mixed reception this era with slightly disappointing sales

what songs do you expect will really take off in the new year?

let's start with the obvious, 'Sweet But Psycho' will be top 10 by January. this took off a lot sooner than I expected

I expect Billie Eilish will have a big year too, 'When The Party's Over' will set her up well for her next single to be a big top 10 and her album will do well. that happened

Lewis Capaldi 'Grace' or Tom Grennan 'Found What I've Been Looking For' could be the big 'indie' hit of Q1. lovelytheband 'Broken' could potentially be a late crossover hit too as that's doing well in the US. Grace did well, the others not

Rihanna to finally come back with new music next year and get a multi-week #1 too. never happened sad.gif

QUOTE(danVember @ Nov 17 2018, 03:40 PM) *

QUOTE(dancember @ Dec 1 2018, 09:33 AM) *

QUOTE(dancember @ Dec 25 2018, 09:20 PM) *
Rihanna is one of those people who could drop a song/album out of nowhere after ages and have tons of hype. I hope she does a sudden album drop in Q1 as she'll do insanely well on streams, go straight to #1 and get decent album sales too as she'll have very little competition. could happen in 2020?

QUOTE(danuary @ Jan 7 2019, 03:53 PM) *
Rihanna will surprise drop her album all at once before the end of Q2 which will get record first week streams for a female artist. One of the songs enters at #1 and spends a few weeks there. still nothing from her
Ed will release a 3 track EP, which will take up the UK's top 3 positions for a month. At least one of the tracks will have a big UK rapper on it (Stormzy or Dave). single with Stormzy and album track with Dave happened, full album was released instead of EP and he never took up the entire top 3
Cardi B will get a #1 single, either as lead or featured artist. Nicki Minaj meanwhile has an off year. no Cardi #1, but I was right about Nicki
Stormzy will get a #1 debut single upon his return. that happened
If Adele returns her comeback single will break UK streaming records. no Adele return
Little Mix will announce their hiatus following a LM5 repackage in Q4. no hiatus announcement or album repackage
Calvin Harris has another big #1 single. #2
Dua Lipa returns with a #1. #2
Justin Bieber has a big comeback with two #1 singles. no JB comeback aside from some features
Taylor Swift goes back to her country roots which results in her comeback missing #1, but it is still a reasonably sized hit and has more longevity than 'Look What You Made Me Do'. her comeback missed #1, but had slightly less longevity, and it wasn't country
Drake releases a 'mixtape'/ 'playlist' which gives him a few top 10s but he is held off #1 by another big release. no album from Drake, and his one random release of the year didn't make top 10
The Greatest Showman soundtrack refuses to ever leave the top 10. it finally did!
The Weeknd, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar all have big eras. Weeknd only starting new era, other 2 haven't released
Billie Eilish gets bigger and she gets a very big hit. Bad Guy provides her with said very big hit

As for ex-1D members;
Harry Styles' comeback single will briefly make the top 20 on hype but it won't be Spotify friendly and won't last long. Album makes the top five but doesn't have much staying power. Harry does even better this time around than in his first era despite lack of a #1 hit
Niall gets a big radio hit and the single spends a few weeks in the top 20. Album comes shortly after and makes top five. Subsequent singles underperform. comeback single missed top 20
Liam's album eventually comes out and bombs, spending one week top 40. He gets one or two more top 40s from collaborations. no more top 40s and album is a flop
Zayn gets dropped following his album bombing and doesn't release anything of his own. He features on a soundtrack single or dance track that flops. featured on Aladdin soundtrack and was on a dance track with R3hab that went nowhere
Louis continues to not release any music. new music happened but made little impact
Reunion does not happen until 2020, when they (but probably not all five) will do a reunion tour/greatest hits album to mark ten years since their formation. no reunion yet

Ummm the same Rihanna who almost did a Katy Perry till she stumbled on Work? Riiight

Little Mix will split. They are terrified of releasing a 2nd single. This smacks of late Spice Girls

I was so close!! No second single. They'll split next year.

Well barring the last one all of these were way off the mark, especially Lewis Capaldi oops blush.gif

It was only as a featured artist of course, but Giant was a pretty big comeback for Rag'n'Bone Man this year.
And Sunflower being reset to SCR and re-entering the chart after Post Malone's album was released could potentially count as 'avoiding ACR like the plague' at a stretch biggrin.gif

I think in my mind Sunflower was going to have a Girls Like You-style run when in reality it hit ACR a few weeks after its peak.
