Ugh, why can't they give combined figures?! Especially as the list is based on such figures. Pretty sure 'Human' has shifted over 1m chart units but it would be nice to have confirmation.

They last gave figures in July 2017:

1 MR BRIGHTSIDE 10 956k
2 HUMAN 3 804k
3 SOMEBODY TOLD ME 3 339k
4 WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG 2 383k
5 ALL THESE THINGS THAT I'VE DONE 18 227k

'Bones' was on the list at #10 in place of 'The Man'.

Mr Brightside peaking at 10 has legit shocked me

Quite surprised to see The Man at #8!

I guess it was outsold by Runaways, but more people listen to The Man

The Man has had really good longevity, one of their most popular recent singles - I still hear it a lot on the radio.

I wonder where Brandon Flowers solo singles would rank in a combined list. "Can't Deny My Love" and "Crossfire" were both excellent!

Posted by: gavindeejay Jun 30 2019, 12:26 AM

I think Crossfire and I Can Change would be the only two that feature tbh!

Mr Brightside is such a classic

A hugely overplayed classic but yes I guess a classic nonetheless

The Man only peaked at 63?!?! Wtf, what a great song

Posted by: WhoOdyssey Jun 30 2019, 05:16 PM

They've also confirmed a new album will be released next year!

Anyone know it's download peak?

Streaming era means they'll not get another top 40 unfort!

It depends what you mean by 'another' top 40, I guess, but there is at least a chance that Mr Brightside will pop back into the lower reaches of the Top 40 on Friday, if it keeps it streams up in the 130k or so a day level today and tomorrow, as it has so far this week, so they could have 'another' one this very week.

Unlikely - the song's just outside the top 50 in the midweeks. Keep in mind it's on eternal ACR too.
