I'm kind of weirdly hoping that it's not a huge hit so the deduction doesn't matter as much. I don't care if it's 24th instead of 21st but I would care if it's 14th instead of 10th for example. x

The morning Sunday winter light was running down buildings and pooling in puddled streets, just like the gentle, chilly rain that had fallen overnight. Around the pub, The Smuggler, blood ran intermixed with water and dyed the rain the international colour of horror. Not that there were many people around to see this, of course. The cobbled pathways, narrow, winding roads and forgotten alleys that made up the dale were empty as Christmas morning.

Busty blonde, T Boy, stepped around the remnants of her pub, stepping over gangster and ghostbuster body alike. The outer wall of the pub and its iconic, coloured-glass-heavy doors were now just shattered brick, charred wood and fragments of T Boy's dream. A suit fluttered around a mafia corpse on the ground as wind rushed into the broken pub. The ghostbusters lay face-down, their large backpacks sticking up like brown boulders. The booths, the doors, the paintings, the cushions, everything was destroyed, covered in ectoplasm, bullet holes, bullet shells, blood, and just generally ripped apart.

Lottie scampered away from pulling pints after a telling-off from T Boy. The bar groaned under the weight of the pints that hadn't been peppered with bullets. Ghost droppings floated in the rest.

A white van rattled up the hill and pulled to a stop inside the ruined room. A moustached-man dressed in a Mario cosplay surveyed the scene, ticking things off his clipboard and squinting at everything. "Masonry Bovine Constructions" was sprawled across the side in red spray paint.

"Give it to me straight, doc dressed as a plumber," T Boy said, flicking his magnificent blonde locks and shaking his busty bust. "What is the damage?"

"Hmm," said Bridge Cow, squinting at the broken wall fish tank and the dead goldfish on the floor. "Well, in my expert opinion, this fish is done for."

"Not that," huffed T Boy. "I mean, what is going on with the building - I need costs, estimates, grown up building information!"

"Oh. Harrumpf," said Bridge Cow. "Well, in my expert opinion, this building is done for."

"NOOOOOOO!" screamed T Boy. "This is all just pieces, pieces of a dream!"

"Pieces of a dream, did you just say? I have never heard, being in such a badly destroyed pub, a voice scream like that. It was like a ton of bricks fallin' on me bonce." As he said this, bricks fell from the ceiling and struck him in the bonce. Once he had recovered, T Boy helping him, dizzily and swaying, to his feet, Bridge Cow continued. "Whoops, always forgettin' me hard hat like that! I'm surprised a bath didn't drop on me bonce like it did to Abby that one time in Eastenders!"

As he said that, a bath dropped down and struck him on the bonce like it did to Abby that one time in Eastenders. (38 seconds in.)



"Funny. I can't remember having a bath directly above him," mused T Boy. "Pretty sure that was the living room..."

After being revived by T Boy's busty looks, BridgeCow stumbled over to his white van and completed his cosplay by putting on his red helmet.

"Anyway," he continued, "in my expert opinion, all this can be rebuilt. I can get this booza back on its feet. But it gonna cost ya."

"How long will it take?"

"Hmm. A couple weeks, at least."
The skies darkened as thick clouds momentarily rolled over the pub and congregated overhead like a meeting of teenagers drinking in a park, spurts of beer drops tipping out onto the bullet-ridden roof.

PsychicSeven stepped over some bricks and mortar, a violin pressed against his cheek as he played this:

T Boy and Bridge Cow shivered, but went back to muttering about payment plans and bricks and mortar, wood and door signs. Psychic7 was clad head to foot in thick velvet robes, black. He played and muttered things as he stepped around the bodies, kicking them over to see their faces. He stopped and grinned as he pushed over one of the mafia and clocked a sight of his face. Riser.

"Er. Ris-Er," said Psychic7.

So, the leader of the American mafia was seemingly dead. Or so it seemed... Psychic7 stepped over him and moved around some more, scouting the bodies. He stopped over another, a ghostbuster this time. His grin widened. He was face-to-face with a celebrity male ghostbuster from New Zealand called Liam Hempings-and-worth.

"Interesting. Veeery interesting," he said. "I predict the dead will walk again tonight!"

I now have two second places and three thirds so close but no cigar!! In all seriousness I'm thrilled with 3rd, absolutely rebounded from the underperformance last month and pretty much out-did the expectations of everyone, Seven was close though with putting me 4th in his odds!

I'm kinda relieved that I don't have to host at least, Leww will be much better thanks for this Jeff, despite the heartache towards the end!

As fun as it was seeing all the bridesmaids in the scrap for victory this month I am super happy with 'Proxima' as a winner, starting off 2019 with two winners that I gave decent points to *.* (and 8 actually felt far too low for 'Proxima', my top 8 were a cut above the rest this month). Aeroche continuing on a quest to set literally all of the records. First country to 10 wins, extending their lead for most semi-final wins (12 of them despite like half their entries being AQs ) and the first country ever to get 4 medal position finishes in a row. There's probably other records broken here as well I'm sure. Well done and happy birthday Lew :3 xx

'Avoir 20 Ans' was really destined to come 2nd all along, it didn't do so in the way I envisioned but the bridesmaid's curse finds its way in the end! Hope you at least get an AQ out of it Chez. x Shame that Jadakissnia had the top 2 finish taken away from them at the last second but 3rd is higher than I expected for Pharao, yay for justice for 'There Is A Star' *.* and really pleased that my hype didn't curse Klum again, 'Saturn' is really gorgeous, well deserved top 5

Neither were quite my favourites but it's a little bit of a shame that Singerpurear and Rolloland ended up juuust missing the top 10, both being proper dark horses! Although Ilkay Sencan is quite a dark horse as well so *_* Fabulous to see FLJ and Elëdan outperforming their predictions (the plug.dj audience were just hoes to ROSALÍA after all it seems, thank gawd non plug people have a bit more taste, justice achieved) and Republic of Adonia at least getting top 20, hoped for higher but they were lower down earlier in the results so at least it was an improvement from that! And Skall getting another top 20 as well *.* So not here for these underperformances for Flynnonda and ESPECIALLY Cowtermont though, y'all did the hosts dirty :'(

Ah, that's a much stronger final scoreboard than it was shaping up to be earlier on! Congrats once again Leww, 'Proxima' definitely had winner vibes and I'm glad it won, would've been great to see any of the other contenders get their first win though. Fantastic results for Terra, Jadakissnia and KlumRep nevertheless!

Relieved that Vulkyria managed a top 15 finish after they first hung around the bottom 10 for far too long. My entry did the same thing so I'm quite pleased to end up in 26th! That bottom two is absolute injustice though, I was especially confident that East Rukahavian finally had a hit on their hands but nope The downsides of this being a much stronger final than usual I guess!

Also I have a semi winner that’s something at least, I knew that semi was perfect for this, I guess it didn’t translate as well to the other semi.

I was paying so much attention to the top of the scoreboard I didn’t notice the rest, wonderful to see Kluminican Republic, FSR Rontvia and ofc Trifoski do so well ❤️ And most of my votes seemed to do well except those silly late voters.
