*.* 1. Dead Man's Gun 2. Ticklish Warrior 3. Jammed Entrance 4. Plastic Plant 5. Gelatinous Cube 6. Unwrap The Fiend, Pt 2 7. Fall Out From The Crawl Out 8. The Axis (use of the word "gelatinous" though!) Thee Oh Sees are the Californian garage/psych rock band that delivered one of 2015's best albums with "Mutilator Defeated At Last". Gonna be a high standard to live up to but the new track 'Plastic Plant' is a damn good start. Decided to start looking more into their discography recently- their 2008 album "The Master's Bedroom" is sounding great at the moment! |

Great little album; Plastic Plant & Gelatinous Cube are a blast, love that weird electronic-ish instrumental on Jammed Entrance, the gloomy and unsettling atmosphere/lyrics on Crawl Out From The Fall Out <3 what is going on with The Axis though?? wonderful little organ-backed tune, kind of a 60/70s psych ballad with some bitter lyrics, followed eventually by this shredding guitar solo- which effectively shreds and distorts the track into pieces at the end it's amazing #64 album smasher too YESS |

"An Odd Entrances" 1. You Will Find It Here 2. The Poem 3. Jammed Exit 4. At the End, on the Stairs 5. Unwrap the Fiend, Pt. 1 6. Nervous Tech (Nah John) never a moment's rest Sort of like a follow-up/companion album to A Weird Exits it seems? I'm liking the sound of The Poem anyhow so i heavily anticipate the 18th of November! (p.s. "A Weird Exits" is still amazing obviously) |
