This years annual CinemaCon is on-going and loads of movies news has been coming out of there as the movie studios do their presentations! I will be doing quite a few post on some of the bigger news pieces so please comment your thoughts on them!

- Solo Batman movie directed by Ben Affleck is happening
- Extended trailers for: The Conjuring 2, Lights Out, Central Intelligence, The Legend Of Tarzan & War Dogs
- New Scooby Doo set for 2018 and is titled S.C.O.O.B
- New Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them trailer
ILLUMINATION NEWS
- Benedict Cumberbatch will voice The Grinch in the animation out in November 2017
- Trey Parker will voice the villain in Despicable Me 3
- Minions short film, Mower Minions, will be played before the Secret Life of Pets in cinemas this summer

SONY NEWS
- Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk trailer shown, backed by a choir version of Heroes by David Bowie and when the film is released, a high frame rate footage will be used to differentiate the war footage from the football game narrative.
- Footage of Passengers was shown, special effects aren't finished yet but are meant to look fantastic so far.
- Trainspotting 2 and Baby Driver teased.
- Extended look at Money Monster.
- Trailer for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Underworld: Blood Wars (new title for the latter movie)
- Also trailers for Keep Watching (home invasion thriller), When The Bough Breaks and Don't Breathe (horror thriller)
- Dark Tower production art shown
- New trailer for The Shallows and Inferno
- Ghostbusters opening scene was shown
- Extended trailer for Sausage Party
- First footage shown of the Magnificent Seven
- Tom Holland took to the stage for Spider-Man, title revealed as Spider Man: Homecoming, title logo revealed, coming 7th July 2017 and Michael Keaton is rumoured to be playing the villain
- Hinted at quite a bit of their upcoming slate including: The Girl Who Played With Fire, Zombieland 2, C.G.I take on Peter Rabbit, Elizabeth Banks's Charlie Angels reboot, James Wan's Robotech, Jumanji, Blade Runner 2, Insidious 4, Men In Black/21 Jump Street crossover called MIB 23, Bad Boys 3, The Equalizer 2, Flatliners, Barbie and Rock Yhat Body starring Scarlett Johansson and is from the creators of Broad City
SONY ANIMATION NEWS
- 5 animations teased: Smurfs: The Lost Village, The Emoji Movie, An untitled nativity story, told from the point of view of a donkey and his animal friend, Hotel Transylvania 3 and the animated Spider-Man movie.
- Emoji Movie described as: a movie that’s about the power of self expression,” Sony Pictures Animation President Kristine Belson teased a storyline set inside an iPhone. The Emojis within live in a place called Emoji valley and wind up having to leave the village to head into the “world of wallpaper.” From there, every icon on a phone becomes its own distinct location.
- New monster recruits coming in Hotel Transylvania 2
- Spider-Man will break grounds for animation and superhero genre
UNIVERSAL NEWS
- Focused on 4 films: Warcraft, The Girl On The Train, Jason Bourne and What Now (Kevin Hart documentary)
- Extended trailer of Warcraft, footage actually seemed to go down very well and is supposedly a lot more polished, first bit of good news about this movie in what feels like months.

- Few scenes shown from What Now
PARAMOUNT NEWS
- Star Trek Beyond was strangely absent from the presentations
- Extended version of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and Ben-Hur trailer
- First look and trailer for Rings, if this becomes a hit then it will become the new annual October event
- Look at Jack Reacher: Never Go Back with a video introduction from Tom Cruise
- Domestic trailer for Florence Foster Jenkins
- Photos shown for Fences, Denzel Washington's return to directing, no footage shown though
- Trailer for Robert Zemenicks now titled 'Allied' starring Brad Pitt & Marion Cotillard
- Some visuals shown from Denis Villeneuve's Story Of Your Life (which now has a new title I think) and features impressive visuals. The movie stars Jeremy Renner and Amy Adams and is still without a release date
- XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage will have its first trailer with Star Trek Beyond
- Ended with Baywatch video message and a teaser between Dwayne Johnson & Zac Efron
Not sure who's to go, I think Lionsgate definitely are and Now You See Me 2 is premiering I think so hopefully some reactions from that.
