Voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, Idris Elba and J.K. Simmons.
Love the trailer, hope it lives up to the promise
lmao this looks hilarious!
Yeah, had a good laugh at that trailer, love the moment when he gets the joke and the slow realisation on his face. I hope we get another trailer sooner to the time though to see more of what this will be like outside of one scene.
I was laughing so hard at the trailer Can't wait for this!
This looks incredible, that trailer is utterly fantastic and amazing
The trailer got so many laughs last week when I saw The Good Dinosaur, I think with good reviews this is going to be a massive box office hit
Just realised this isn't called Zootopia in the UK, have no clue why but its a shame as I much prefer that title to Zootropolis
Anyway saw the trailer again yesterday and was in stitches, easily my most anticipated movie at the moment and looks incredible
Can see this being a massive box office hit as well, trailer went down a storm the 2 or 3 times I've seen it and all my family actually want to see an animated movie which is practically a first
Ffs why do they have to have it different in another country
The trailer was a lot of fun but I hope there's more to it in the actual film
Shakira's song for Zootopia/Zootropolis
Not too sure on the song at the moment Though I adore the artwork for the song *.*
Really can't wait for this! Hopefully it'll be as good as the trailers and previews suggest it is!
No wonder I couldn't find anything when I searched for "Zootopia" before Christmas! Thought the film had completely had no hype!
I saw that trailer at the start of the Star Wars movie, it was so hilarious had me in stitches this is shaping up to be one of the best Disney movies
So, so good. Not quite as good as Big Hero 6, for me, but really excellent. Disney really are entering another golden age quality wise.
Thought this was fantastic, Disney are on such a roll at the moment with their animated movies. My favourite thing about this was the fantastic world building, the scene were Judy first goes through Zootropolis on the train is magical, so many cute moments too like the tall giraffe cars and the cheap movie stall selling stuff like Pig Hero 6 and Meowana All the characters were great, fell in love with the two leads especially. The third act was also so exciting, loads of twists and turns and all quite unexpected and the joke that the film ends on with Flash was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing I liked the messages too and they managed to make it never too preachy, I do prefer Big Hero 6 and Wreck-It Ralph but Disney animation are well and truly back on top form.
Shakira's songs is also so catchy ah
So beyond hyped for this, looks incredible and I've only heard great things about it
About 10 of us are going to see it on Good Friday, so excited!
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. It carries such great messages all the way through and it's SO cute. I tended to think the smaller the creature, the cuter it was, I especially liked whichever species it was buying up the pawpsicles and Mr Big and his daughter As a standalone song I don't know if "Try Everything" would be that great, but with the context of the movie I loved it. I had such a smile on my face during so many scenes.
Had me wondering if the title being different in some countries means that the animation / dialogue might vary slightly between countries to fit
Instantly my favourite movie out of the 25 I've seen so far this year and I think I preferred it to Big Hero 6 (animals are cuter than humans )
The title difference is apparently because in the UK, there's a Zoo or some place that has "Zootopia" trademarked/copyrighted! Excited for this though <3
literally everyone ever has been talking about this movie and how they liked it for weeks here. ahhh i need to see it to believe tho~
Another fantastic animated classic from Disney. I'd say this is the most important film they've made in a long time. In light of the events of the past week and months it was so painfully relevant and Hopps' final speech at the end hit the nail on the head completely.
Saw it in a packed cinema filled with adults and children and the laughs came from everyone. Beautiful settings, loveable characters and as I've said a very essential message. Loved it. Animated Disney can do no wrong recently.
Absolutely bloody incredible, on par with Frozen for me Going to take a lot to top this this year!
11/10 (Will post a way bigger review in the next few days after I've caught up on about the 10 other things I need to do!)
Review time!:
First of all, what an absolutely gorgeous animation movie! The animation was absolutely fantastic and some of the best animation I have ever seen, it all looked really realistic and Zootopia looks like such a fun and beautiful city! The voice cast were also amazing, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman brought so much life to their characters and made you adore them! I also adored the characters, Hopps was cute adorable and Nick was great and really interesting! I also loved Hopps parents and I never saw the final twist coming with the nice rabbit being the villain until she entered the museum Great twist and worked really well, that scene in particular was incredible! Especially the Nick/Judy part where you felt Nick had turned bad till it was revealed they were acting!. And the sloths were so fun and adorable and I screamed at Flash's last scene
Another way this movie absolutely excels is the interaction between Nick and Judy and how close they are together! The story is incredible and the film is elevated even more by the many important themes and messages it tackles and successfully conveying them in such a fantastic manner to make Zootropolis an important movie as well as an amazing one The movie made me smile and laugh so much the entire time!
My only tiny tiny complaint is that I would have liked a little bit more of Gazelle as she seemed non existent! Try Everything was a great track though and works excellently in the context of the movie!
I really could (and probably will in a few days time when I've got more time) gush on about this masterpiece for way longer but I'm tired now so going to sleep
This was amazing. Even though I'd already seen the sloth scene, I was in TEARS of joy.
This surprised me, I really wasn't expecting it to be this good! I don't often see animated films in the cinema, mainly due to bratty children but this was so funny and had such a great and very important message regarding race and prejudice throughout.
Probably my favourite film of the year, maybe just behind Room.
Another vote here for best film of 2016 so far. Disney (not Pixar) are light years ahead of other studios in animation right now. Big Hero 6 and Wreck-It Ralph were also fantastic. I'd say they've not been this consistent since Walt died.
Couple of gripes:
I saw the twist coming about 10 minutes before it did (and that was a bit of a disappointment as the "nice person turns out to be bad" is getting a bit overused)
Far too much Gazelle / Shakira - utterly unnecessary character. The music is the only thing Disney need to get back on track.
Needed more lemmings (the creatures who buy all the popsicles)!
This was incredible, really enjoyed it! Ginnifer Goodwin was fantastic as Judy!
Enjoyed it, enjoyed the voice cast, pleasant, amusing and heart-warming enough, though not quite up there with Pixar, it's a bit fluffy-bunny-ier 7/10
