Hey all ~
Gonna get started on this tomorrow, just post every day when I can, a song you might have forgotten, that I've rediscovered, been loving randomly, is giving me life at the time or whatever. I've liked the idea when I've seen it in the dance forum, and thought we could get in on this too. I'll be posting one later on, so swing by and disocver, rediscover or just appreciate all sorts of jams and bops x |

Sia - Move Your Body I have already looned over this in the This Is Acting thread, but I have to draw attention to this again *.* In between being shockingly impressed by Anti, I can't get enough of this. Written for Shakira, this it, put simply, a behemoth of a pop track with a colossal chorus and hypnotic dancefloor production. Honestly, I don't know what Shakira was thinking rejecting this, I really think it could have been a Spinning Around/On The Floor style career reviving hit (on a lesser scale ofc). Although it's maybe too early to compare to the monster that is Chandelier, this could well be her best song since she made it big WW (not that it's hard ). Alarmingly, this could even challenge some of her classics like The Girl You Lost To Cocaine, Soon We'll Be Found, Bring Night and You've Changed. But I doubt anything will touch Clap Your Hands or Breathe Me. EVER <3 Unfortunately there are no real links that I can find that aren't sped up or pitched up, but it'll be on Spotify and Apple Music tomorrow with the release of her album so all pop fans make sure you give this a listen! |

Zendaya ft. Chris Brown - Something New Been busy with being back at uni the past week, but will get into the swing of this! Zendaya decimated lives with Replay in 2013, but it STILL hasn't seen a UK release... With Chris Brown on board, this could "do a Pia Mia", as Do It Again went top 10 and was a sizeable hit (this will be a lesser scale IF it does though). Whilst this is no Replay, this radio-ready R&B jam is a strong start to Zendaya's second era, topped off by wonderful sample of the horns from TLC's classic Creep. It's currently at #70 in the US off the back of her fanbase, radio jumping on this could see it be a hit in the coming weeks/months maybe? We'll see. |

Christina Milain - Dip It Low Rediscovered this while reading the Orange Is The New Black book. Undoubtedly one of the best $l*t jams ever, it's just irresistible and you kinda want to $l*t drop every time. I am dying to hear this out, such a brilliant throwback <3 I love when you just rediscover old songs like this randomly <3 |

Kristina DeBarge - Goodbye A prime piece of 2009 R&B/pop *.* This was a year of many lost pop gems, and this has to be one of the best examples. With a sample of Steam's song Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye (famously used by Banarama as well), this pop stomper goes all out as an absolute banger, and it won't leave your head for ages. Sadly, despite being a Hot 100 top 20, it failed to chart in the UK |

MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS
I think that, Jessie James Decker's "Wanted" and Bieber's "One Time" were among my faves in terms of new artist debuts that year. |

I remember this song! I had her album as well, loved 'Future Love', 'Sabotage' and 'Speak Out'. She really deserved to be more successful than she was.

Ace Wilder - Don't Worry Many of you will know Ace from her 2014 Melodifestivalen runner-up and general relatable anthem Busy Doin' Nothin', but Ace is back this year with a vengeance and a place in the Melfest final *.* This is a total hands-up 90s anthem, with rave pianos, lyrics that are almost as relatable as Busy Doin' Nothin', and a general carefree vibe that makes this a must listen for any pop fan! |

Sorry guys, been very busy with uni and this has taken a backseat but I'll be more regular now I'm home from uni for 3 weeks!
Francesca Michelin - Nessun grado di separazione Absolutely stunning song, anyone who doesn't frequent the Eurovision forum and doesn't go through songs beforehand needs to hear this NOW. Italian is such a beautiful language which always helps but her voice is also so captivating, and melodically this is so striking and makes me want to belt it out with her even though I only can speak basic GCSE level Italian. And in fact I don't remember much of that either. |
