Jason Derulo is at it again, with yet another dance song out this Friday;
Preview sounds pretty good!
GO AWAY JASON DERULO
another Derulo song? This has to stop.
Jason Derulo raising himself back into prominence
I trust this will be another slowish dance song given that its Martin Jensen. Hopefully he will raise the pace a bit though.
Actually quite like this!
This has one of my favourite "Jaaaason Deruuulooo"s
'Cause your love make me feel like!
Oh wait.
The production is ok, I don’t think it will trouble the charts though while Savage Love continues to reign.
I thought this was quite nice and building up to something until that awful drop kicked in. Yuck, pass.
Wow! I really liked it on first listen.
Such a bop, Jason is really killing it this year 😍😍😍
Up to #165 on Apple now! I wouldn't mind this being a hit
This is so bizarre
Out on Friday!
Really like how this sounds!
it's like Meduza & Goodboys's footsteps are all over this track
anyway, sounds nice. cheesy but nice.
I quite like this new one from Alok
I'm quite liking this! Wasn't sure how the two artists would go together but it's pretty nice.
Everyone You Know release this song last year titled Charlie
Okay that is a little bit of a let-down, it's literally the same song sped up a little bit I liked the idea that the pair of them got together to record it!
Listened to both a few times and I'm still not sure which one I prefer! Leaning towards the Alok remix, I think.
I'm really enjoying this one
Yes its very good.
Sounds pretty generic, but interesting to see The Vamps hopping on another dance track - out on May 28th!
Not bad, but nowhere near as good as Alok & The Vamps' last collab!
Yeah I quite like this - a bit basic - but has a good hook.
In their first two eras, I never thought The Vamps would end up as frequent dance collaborators
This is pretty good tbh
Original
With Joel Corry
useless remix
bop
Wherever You Go featuring John Martin is out now.
like it
2 new remixes are out today.
Alan Walker Remix:
Alle Farben Remix:
Au/Ra features on the latest single by Alok, out now;
Three new tracks this week;
Alok and Alan Walker will release their first collaboration called "Headlights", featuring vocalist KIDDO, and it'll be out this Friday at 'Controversia'.
Pre-save: https://controversia.release.link/headlights-feat-kiddo
Quite decent.
There’s a music video for Headlights;
Alok also has this single out this week;
Bhaskar & Kohen Remix for Wherever you Go is out now;
‘Run Into Trouble’ with Bastille has just been confirmed on Alok’s Instagram story, very exciting!
Nothing massively interesting, but it's a solid bop. Hopefully it gets a push over here.
okayish
Jonas Blue Remix for Run Into Trouble;
Alok’s new single is a cover/sample of Destiny’s Child’s hit Jumpin’ Jumpin’;
Covering the Rockwell hit, previously done by BeatFreaks in 2006;
From last week’s releases;
Arabic version of "Headlights" with vocalist Issam Alnajjar:
Work With My Love, with James Arthur, is out next Friday
I obviously hadn't looked at this thread since September 2020 and without looking at the dates of the post, excitedly thought the (rather good) Tove Lo one was new.
Instead I scroll to the end of the thread and we have one with James friggin' Arthur of all people to come Deep joy.
Why is it another sample?
Lola’s Theme by The Shapeshifters
Here it is;
Not a fan of James Arthur’s own music but I think he works really well on dance music. This is a bop!
Alok and Cat Dealers remade Brazilian classic "Boa Sorte" by Vanessa da Mata:
Mark Knight Remix for Work With My Love out last Friday;
Ready Set Go is out tomorrow:
Alok & Solardo - Over Again out tomorrow
Mami Mami contains another familiar sample ;
2 Much 2 Handle with Steve Aoki was out Friday:
Debuted unreleased track called “Jungle in my Heart” with The Chainsmokers. I think the vocalist is Mae Stephens. It sounds like a smash ngl.
Drum Machine with an unknown Pickle was out Friday:
New Alok album THE FUTURE IS ANCESTRAL was out last Friday and it's so much more interesting than most of his recent singles!
Pedju Kunumigwe is a spotlight imo:
