It was oddly refreshing to hear a bit of nu metal in this contest tbh lol! 'What Comes Around' was a goodun ~

I couldn't decide between After Forever, Korpiklaani and Yousei Teikoku as to which was the one that was obviously Iz That is the best of the three though so yay for not letting me down Iz. (I guess who else would send essentially a grown up BABYMETAL song?)

Haha it was so obvious Riverside was going to be King Rollo!! Slightly retro, way longer than everything else, and it sounded like the kind of thing Rollo would be into anyway It was quite a journey of a song though, I really liked the instrumental parts near the end in particular, a strong debut.

I'd be mildly miffed that my Nuggets peak of 3rd is 'only' improved to 2nd (matching my UP peak lol) but I'll absolutely take that if it's behind Jade (because the fabled Brade top 2 has finally happened somewhere), and that is a fantastic winner so no complaints This is your reward for FINALLY actually entering something in this forum after me nagging you for years xxx

Thanks to Noah and Jupiter for those last few points for 'Hanami' as well, I'm really surprised at how well this did, one of my favourite songs I've entered to this but I wasn't expecting it to do any better than the last time I sent a long post-rock instrumental and finished in the mid-teens!

That whole top 10 is incredible actually, especially pleased that Tom Misch came top 5 as I wouldn't have necessarily pegged that as a hit here despite how much I loved it, all the rest of those were songs I either voted for or would have done in the last contest! *.*

KINDA gutted at how badly I did though (although I suppose this is better than how I was doing throughout voting), this sounded so anthemic when I first heard it and yet I made it into so few people's votes? I don't get Nuggets sometimes
