The Cain, Moira and Nate scenes deserved more air time during the episodes as it was gripping to watch.
Much of the other material mixed through the episode wasn't interesting as i just wanted the episode to stay with Cain, Moira and Nate. |

THRILLING storyline ahead of Aaron feeling sorry for himself, whinging 24/7 and ruining everyone else's lives rather than dealing with what's happening in his own :')

They recast very quickly.
To recast they must believe they have some good storylines for the family. |

I'm surprised they bothered! I know his dad came in and there was also the budding thing with Belle but the former has business with Kim and really it's easy to write other things for Belle to make up for that.

I welcome Aaron teaming up with Cain for some bad boy antics.
I cant deal with more emotional scenes from Aaron as there have been far too many. |

I gave up watching Emmerdale a while ago but this new twist of Maya being pregnant is a new low. Even if it turns out not to be Jacob's (which I'm guessing it's not) it's a gross 'shock twist'. This whole storyline has been handled disgustingly from what I've seen and heard from spoilers.

There's not even plans for Maya to return - those scenes were filmed back when she was still in it previously. It's just a cheap, nasty twist with no intention on being followed up.

I'm sure it'll be picked up in the future but there's no current plans which means it is just shock for the sake of it. A child grooming storyline is meant to be handled sensitively and the victim's perspective should be the main focus and they've neglected this a lot.

I felt the storyline overall was handled terribly.
The focus moved alot and i don't feel it was portrayed sensitively or accurately. |

Jacob did some Brill scenes in the fri episode, its prob the only time I have felt empathy with him during the storyline.
