good to see that confirmations week is Eurovision week, would be too much to have semi-finals and Eurovision in the same week.

I have a subtle dark wonder that is the theme to one of my favourite shows I've seen this year. Probably won't help me in my search for a decent sized hit this year, but I hope some take to it and it's absolutely beautiful.

So hyped to send my entry for this contest *.* it's my longest entry to date (8 minutes) and is a remix of a song that was sent to Unknown Pleasures before I joined that contest. It's an electronica song with ethnic and trippy excerpts. It has a wondrous accompanying fanmade video too. I feel like this could either bomb or stand out enough for a certain niche in the right semi to make it. Either way it's worth the risk!

I'm still trying to find something good that isn't setting off my "surely that's a veto" senses. Might end up just going with an old potential that slipped through the cracks.

AQ, my friend, AQ! If now isn't the time to take risks then never is. Besides, never say never!

I mean, it may (and that is a may, I do think the one I'm thinking of, if I do go that route, would stand an unusually good chance of qualifying anyway) tank my currently rather respectable streak if it's an odd number of entrants but I don't get these opportunities very often so I'm definitely entering something I'd be happy to avoid the semi process with, no matter how it does in the final.

I'm stuck between two male singer-songwriters. Both are ambitious, underappreciated and have plenty of genuine laugh-out-loud moments in their lyrics but both also have occasionally grating personas x
