Released: 16th March 2020
Label: Disturbing London Records

Biography

English emcee Tinie Tempah (born Patrick Chukwuem Okogwu, Jr.) hails from South London. He was in his teens when he issued his first single, "Wifey," which packed sweetened swagger and became a hit in the underground. Tinie subsequently established the Disturbing London (aka DL) label and released 2007's Hood Economics: Room 147: The 80 Minute Course, a mixtape featuring drop-ins from Chipmunk and DVA. The Parlophone label took note and signed the rapper, whose 2010 singles "Pass Out" and "Frisky" topped various singles charts in the U.K. The tracks led to The Disc-Overy, Tinie's proper debut album, issued later in the year. In 2011, he embarked on a U.K. arena tour, and later that year released two new singles "Like It or Love It" featuring Wretch32 & J. Cole, and "Lucky c**t," which featured Big Sean. He also collaborated with Calvin Harris on the smash hit single "Drinking from the Bottle" in 2013 and was included on Harris' album 18 Months. In mid-2013, he announced details of his long-awaited sophomore album, Demonstration. Two singles ("Trampoline" featuring 2 Chainz and "Children of the Sun" featuring John Martin) were released, giving audiences a glimpse of his future material. The album arrived that autumn and debuted on the U.K. charts at number three. Additional high-profile guests included Dizzee Rascal, Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, Emeli Sande, Paloma Faith, and Laura Mvula. The rapper returned in 2015 with his sixth mixtape, Junk Food, which featured Stormzy, Giggs, Ms Banks, and a club-friendly single, "Not Letting Go," featuring Jess Glynne. "Not Letting Go" topped the U.K. charts and would be featured on his third LP, Youth, which was released in 2017. The album also featured "Girls Like" with Zara Larsson and "Text from Your Ex" with Tinashe. - iTunes

Melanie C
Who I Am

2nd single from eighth studio album
Released: 19th March 2020
Label: Red Girl Media

Biography

Melanie Jayne Chisholm (born 12 January 1974), professionally known as Melanie C or Mel C, is an English singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, actress and television personality. She is one of the five members of the Spice Girls, in which she was nicknamed Sporty Spice. Since 1996, Chisholm has sold more than 105 million records, including 85 million copies with the group, and 20 million solo albums, singles and collaborations, and has earned over 325 worldwide certifications (included numerous diamonds), including 40 silver, gold and platinum certifications as a solo artist.

Having co-written 11 UK Number 1s, more than any other female artist in chart history, she remains the only female performer to top the charts as a solo artist, as part of a duo, quartet and quintet. With 12 UK Number 1 singles, including the charity single as part of The Justice Collective, she is the second female artist – and the first British female artist – with most singles at number 1 in the United Kingdom, and with a total of 14 songs that have received the number 1 in Britain (including the double A-sides), Chisholm is the female artist with most songs at number 1 in the UK ranking history. Her work has earned her several awards and nominations, including a Guinness Book mention, three World Music Awards, five Brit Awards from 10 nominations, three American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards from six nomination, eight Billboard special awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards from seven nominations, one MTV Video Music Awards from two nomination, ten ASCAP awards, one Juno Award from two nominations, and four nominations nomination at the Echo Awards.

Chisholm began her solo career in late 1998 by singing with Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams on the worldwide hit "When You're Gone". Her solo debut album Northern Star was released in 1999, reaching number 1 in Sweden and number 4 on the UK Albums Chart. It was certified internationally with seven platinum and three gold certifications, including triple-Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry, selling over 4 million copies worldwide, and becoming the best selling solo album of any Spice Girls member. It produced four top 5s and a top 20 single, two of which reached the number 1 spot in the UK. The album was certified multi-platinum worldwide.

Chisholm's second album, Reason, was released in March 2003 and sold more than 500,000 copies. The album reached number 5 in the UK where it was certified Gold, and produced one top 10, one top 20 and a double A sided top 30 single. In 2004, Chisholm parted from Virgin and founded her own record company, Red Girl Records. Beautiful Intentions, her third album, was released in April 2005. It reached number 24 in the UK, number 15 in Germany and spent 9 weeks at number 1 in Portugal. The album was certified Gold by the BVMI and the IFPI Switzerland and Platinum by the AFP, selling over 1.5 million copies worldwide, and produced three singles, one of which charted at number 10 in the UK, and one peak at number 1, going platinum in Germany. Her fourth studio album, This Time, was released in April 2007 and reached 57 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming her first top 10 album in Switzerland where was certified Gold. Of the five singles released from the album, the first three went to number 1 in Portugal, one charted at number 1 in some parts of Europe, and one become a top 30 in the UK and a top 10 in some European charts. The BBC reviewed the album as "competent" but unlikely to attract new listeners. In December, Chisholm reunited with the Spice Girls to release a greatest hits album supported by a world tour. She released her fifth solo album, The Sea, on 2 September 2011, and her first EP The Night on 13 May 2012. They were followed by sixth studio album Stages (2012) and seventh album, Version of Me (2016).

Biography

J Hus, a Londoner of Gambian heritage, made a major impact on the 2010s U.K. rap scene with his distinctive blend of dancehall, grime, Auto-Tune-laced R&B, and Afro-beats. After establishing himself in 2015 with a series of freestyles and early singles, such as the heavily streamed "Lean & Bop," he broke through with his 2017 debut full-length, Common Sense, which hit the U.K. Top Ten and earned a shower of critical acclaim, garnering a Mercury Prize nomination, among other accolades.

Momodou Jallow was born and raised in Stratford, London by his single mother. Influenced by 50 Cent, he began rapping, and went professional thanks to the help of two friends, who formed 2K Management. In 2015, they recorded a handful of demos and uploaded them to the Web, cut the single "So Paranoid" with London rapper MoStack, and uploaded a set of videos, including "Dem Boy Paigon." The latter was an instant street hit and quickly earned over a million views. J Hus then dropped his debut mixtape, The 15th Day, as well as the non-album single "Lean & Bop" (his first release on Sony imprint Black Butter Records), which was streamed several million times. J Hus began 2016 with the single "Friendly," and the three-song Playing Sports EP soon followed.

The burgeoning star had a busy year in 2017, as he featured on the Nines track "High Roller" and Dave's hit "Samantha," as well as Stormzy's "Bad Boys" from his hugely successful Gang Signs & Prayer record. In May 2017, Hus released his debut LP, Common Sense, which featured guest spots from MoStack, Burna Boy, Tiggs Da Author, and MIST. The album was recognized with a Mercury Prize nomination that same year; in 2018, it won Best Album at the NME Awards, and garnered the rapper three Brit Award nominations. J Hus followed his breakthrough success with the 2018 EP Big Spang.

Biography

Introducing Mastermind: 24 year old rapper from Manchester tipped by BBC Radio 1Xtra as ‘Hot For 2020’, the prestigious annual list of the most exciting artists around. Raised in Rusholme, originally from Somaliland, and his mum, a Mancunian of Welsh and Yemini heritage. Last year, his single ‘WaveTime’ sparked a major label bidding war last year (he signed to Pitched Up/Columbia Records) and the accompanying video hit a million views quickly. Selected by DJ Semtex as one of ‘5 Tracks You Need To Know’ on his Capital Xtra show, the track had additional support from Kenny Allstar, Twin B, Charlie Sloth, DJ Target and a sleuth of community stations. Produced by Next Lanes from Denmark, the track was shared and supported by the likes of Mist, Aitch, Bugzy Malone, Headie One, WSTRN, M Huncho and Yxng Bane. Footballers - Demetri Mitchell (Manchester United FC) and Jadon Sancho also championed Mastermind indicating his mass appeal from the artist (and football) community alike. The follow up to this was ‘WaveTime 2’ featuring Chip & Nafe Smallz, a track championed across the board at radio from grassroots to the likes of Robert Bruce at Capital Xtra, Charlie Sloth at Beats 1 and Annie Mac at BBC Radio 1. With a growing fanbase in Canada thanks to a 2016 collaboration ‘Hungry’ with Toronto rapper Robin Banks, Mastermind is looking forward to spreading his sound further both here at home and internationally. - Spotify

Biography

Tory Lanez was one of the more versatile commercial artists to surface during the early 2010s. A songwriter and producer who flits between and fuses R&B and rap -- his vocals alternate between swift and rugged boasts and smooth and sensitive come-ons -- he made steady strides toward the mainstream with numerous mixtapes, guest appearances, and self-directed videos. He spent parts of his early life in Toronto, his birthplace, as well as in Montreal, Miami, Atlanta, and New York. Although he was known underground well before his 20th birthday, and was supported early on by Sean Kingston, he made some of his biggest moves in 2014. During that year, he was featured on "Me & My Bitch" -- a track off YG's Top Five album My Krazy Life -- and among his own tracks that circulated in 2014 was "The Mission," his first cut to hit Billboard's Twitter Emerging Artists chart. In July 2015, after he had signed an Interscope-affiliated deal with Benny Blanco's Mad Love label, he released "Say It," an R&B slow jam that sampled Brownstone's mid-'90s hit "If You Love Me" and peaked the following February at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. A handful of additional tracks, including the dancehall-flavored "Luv" -- his second Hot 100 placement -- led to his debut full-length, I Told You. Issued in August 2016, the album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200. "Luv" was later nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best R&B Song. Several singles, including the Future collaboration "Real Thing," followed during 2017 and early 2018 and led to his second album, MEMORIES DONT DIE. - iTunes

Biography

London-based MC Fredo focuses his lyrics on his drug-dealing lifestyle, the streets that he calls home, and all the money he's made. Hailing from London's infamously tough Mozart Estate, Fredo was considered one of the leading figures in the notorious London gang Harrow Road Boys. He practiced his craft as an MC for years before emerging in 2016 with the single "They Ain't 100." The track immediately gained attention, including a small co-sign when Drake featured the song in his 30th birthday mix on OVO Sound Radio. The same year, he released two further singles, "Trapspot" and "Pattern Gang," before appearing on Kojo Funds and Abra Cadabra's hit single "Dun Talkin (Remix)" alongside Yxng Bane, Frisco, and JME.

In 2017 Fredo elevated the hype he had already received, releasing his third single, "Get the Pot," early in the year, quickly followed by his debut appearance on Charlie Sloth's Fire in the Booth. Both were in preparation for his debut mixtape, Get Rich or Get Recalled, which was released independently in March of that year. Fredo returned the following year with his second mixtape, Tables Turn, which featured collaborations with Not3s, Asco, and Kaos. That same year he also teamed up with South London's Dave for the single "Funky Friday." Hitting the top spot of the U.K. charts, the single propelled both MCs into the spotlight. At the beginning of 2019, Fredo delivered his proper debut album, Third Avenue. The Universal release saw him working once again with Dave, as well as Lil Dotz, on a collection of deftly produced trap cuts.

Guessing they don't have radio edits for those 2, for some reason.
