1st December so naturally all the Christmas songs start to make some real progress on iTunes.
'Santa Baby' is in the Top 200 now, currently #189. It's been Top 200 on Spotify the past week too, currently #156 with 46k streams. |

Interesting that her 1992 compilation is the one that receives such a boost, although I suppose it's her 80s stuff that received the biggest boosts on the singles.

Hoping that the channel 5 show will give her back catalogue a boost on iTunes - hopefully some songs are featured heavily which will have people seeking out her ‘Greatest Hits’ (And of course ‘Golden’!).

That would be what would be expected with it airing on channel 5. While it is still wonderful to get, it would have benefited her more if aired on itv or the bcc.

Even with 1.2 million viewers you only need to shift 50-100 copies to appear in the lower reaches of the iTunes chart so we could see some activity.

It would be welcoming if they can all climb further.
All these extra sales (although small) will help Dancing make the 100,000 benchmark which is a good outcome for the single and likewise for the album. |
