Glad you like the summer dancy-ness And there's plenty more in the lower section this week John Gibbons is right up my street, it took me until Sunglasses in the Rain to really 'get' him though! Panic Room has had a good climb this week, especially since the chart has been bombarded by new entries. Thanks Jeff (and you didn't realise it had been over a year I put a few emojis next to your name and everything! )

Glad you like these! All have continued to go in their projected directions And both new Galantises have made an impact in my Top 100 also - thanks James!


Sweat is by far my favourite from him, it just has that summer-holiday feel which is when I think it will really impact me! And a ton more dance entries (some of yours also) have impacted the Top 100 - thanks Dan!


Ride Or Die was fairly new to my knowledge but I guess it was a month old when I first heard it! And you seem to have missed a former #1 of yours in the 41-100 section, although its dropped out now Thanks Jupiter!


Gave the album a listen yesterday - as I've said up top there will be a few album tracks charting next week! And you'd be wrong about Club Bizarre (although I reckon I could guess your Nuggets entry ) Thanks Dexton!


Hope Tom gets some sort of hit out of this, if Freya Ridings can go Top 100 surely he can! And Inner Circle weren't Europop last time I looked Thanks Mango!

Hey Pete,

As you’ve likely gathered by now I am back to doing my own weekly personal chart , yes it is the return of the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary. Part of my reasons for doing this was not only to express my enjoyment of music but also to give my opinions on what music others are currently enjoying too! With that in mind, let me share my opinion on your chart!

My highlights from your chart at the moment are Rudimental, Sigala, Gorgon City and Galantis. There are a few tracks I noticed that if I was doing my personal chart still a few weeks ago I would have added. One or two may yet make a late appearance in my chart too!

Do you have a public playlist of your personal chart either on Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube? If so I would be interested in following it (if I don’t already!).

Also I’d just like to add that it’s my privilege to be asked to be one quarter of the moderating team here in the personal charts forum, and just like the other 3, I want you to find me approachable too. I hope I can continue to make this forum an enjoyable experience for everyone!

Great chart this week. As I said last week, Spaceship is a bop. it is nowhere near Galantis best by any means though.

Hi Pete!

Good to hear the old Inner Circle song at 2, always loved the original reggae vibes, this is much more dance-oriented but good. Blonde is fab, big new entry in my chart, ta for the tip, Bryn Christopher is a great vocalist too. Hooverphonic also doing better in my charts, great choice of entry for BJSC! Love it.

Playing The Knocks now, it's a goodie too, Claptone too, that one is climbing higher in my charts. Good to see Benny benassi sneaking in at the lower end. One day I'll get the time to investigate all the ones I dont know (about 60 of 'em!)

perhaps I need to give 'sweat' another chance again, I did enjoy it but just got flushed out by a mass of new arrivals. hope it can overtake Tom O'Dull (I had to ) on your chart next week.

Yeah OK I know it's reggae and they're from Jamaica, I don't really know why I class it as Europop, I just sort of seem to lump it in with all the Europop hits of that time

Anyway I don't know any of your new entries this week! But I'm happy for Tom Odell being #1, I've lost hope about it being a hit or even playlisted by R1 now. Good to see Embrace go Top 20 too

I tried being less transparent with my Nuggets entry compared to every other contest I enter but maybe not

I Said Hi still Top 5 is amazing, so glad it's become a hit for you

The Rubens climbing still is great too

I don't know any of your new entries this week aside from the two Galantis and Benny Benassi & Sofi Tukker Maybe my music taste is getting too mainstream
