About three months later for that Portugal. add but hopefully it'll improve on its peak position in the new year!
I'm not a huge fan of the new Camila song but it was never not going to be playlisted. Great to see them backing "Barking" so soon too  How is "I Miss You" still A list?!

Ugh. I was hoping Portugal. The Man wasn't going to be a hit. I guess it's just a matter of time until it reaches number 1 with a 'Human' by RNBM sort of chart run.
Great for Camila. Willing for 'Never Be the Same' to become a hit  Surprised Ed has come off the playlist, but I imagine he's had more than enough time on there across the two versions.

Why have they playlisted 'I Fall Apart' now? Having a 2016 song on the playlist in 2018 isn't the best look. Is there really that little new releases around at the moment?
Good to see 'Barking' and 'River' on there and to see Not3s/Mabel on the A-List! |

Yay Feel It Still added 2/3 months late when it's no longer on Hot Hits UK thus has no chance of taking off
 nice one label/radio 1Surprised My Way is off already, thought that could've maybe been a minor hit in the new year |

Who leaked the playlist this week then?
Very strange update: One Bit being taken off after only three weeks, Ed Sheeran being taken off, Clean Bandit on there still, Post Malone being added with a two year old song. Anyway, really happy about Portugal. The Man (3 months late) and Diplo. Hopefully Lily Allen gets playlisted in the new year and I'd imagine Louis Tomlinson will as well. Portugal. The Man finally on! Probably a big sales hit in the waiting so I think it'll re-peak even with poor streaming.
'I Fall Apart' now the next Post Malone official single? A bit late for that one now, aren't we meant to be getting a new album from him soon? (we were meant to get it at the start of the month actually) Good to see Ramz getting added. |

Why did Radio 1 suddenly decide to do a playlist for Christmas weeks having never did so prior to 2016? Possibly it had something to do with a change of music management.

Really surprised that they've taken 'Perfect' off, it's almost unprecedented to remove a song from the playlist while it's Number 1! Plus it's only had 10 weeks on the playlist across both versions so thought it would still get another couple of weeks.
I guess no one's bothering with the Louis Tomlinson single then? |
