 Kejsi Tola 'Carry Me in Your Dreams' We move further to Albania and have Kejsi as our first qualifier. The weird staging (use BODY SUIT next time, blue man. it will look so much better) in Eurovision may have confused a lot of people in 2009 but not many Buzzjackers. This is still deemed as one of the best Albanian songs so far by us. Although from the girl next door-y double power 2008/2009 clone wars Olta Boka still wins over Kejsi. Sorry about it. Now it's time to find out whether she made it also... she didn't :'( |

 Rona Nishliu 'Suus'  Yeah, Kejsi was third. But the good news is that Rona is Top 2. YASSSSSSS. 'Suus' was EVERYTHING. Perfect weird ass video only the likes of pitchfork's favourite non-black bands would do, an incredible song, fabulous staging and obviously Rona herself with her crazy voice and facial expressions *.* Still remember how I loved the song way before the Semifinal performance and everyone else~ RONA ZEROER adamaloud go suck as goat dick plz

 Alsou 'Solo' Still so young in that photo :') One of Russia's biggest artists of the late 1990s/early 2000s and Eurovision's first Russian Top 2 placer, Alsou, is going to the Semifinals. Yay. She really still has one of the best Russian performances in Eurovision. This was the beginning of Russian Eurovision domination <3 Not that there's a lot of great songs but when we do it right it really shows. |

 Serebro 'Song #1'  YUP, that's Yulia Savicheva (2004) and Polina Gagarina (2015) in the background. That edition of Star Factory was really the best. So yeah Lena still slayed even before she got with two other bitches for Serebro~ Anyway, Tatu came third and What If got a confusingly large amount of 12s. Yet another former Eurovision #1 fails to go further. Still two left in Norway though. I'll get to them next. |

 Secret Garden 'Nocturne'  Margaret Berger 'I Feed You My Love'  Probably one of the most satisfying results of any heat. Queen Margaret easily makes it further with Secret Garden following her (or is it the other way round?  ). With only 18 points between the Top 2 both of them slayed through the competition having left an extremely overrated Maria Haukaas Whatever an incredible 35 (!) points behind in third place.YASSS so now we have a full house with each year having at least one representative  Alexander Rybak went for the first three votes without a single point. It was very weird and felt PERSONAL. Why and when did everyone stop loving him :'( |

 I was almost sure Hold On Be Strong would be there instead, as nice as that is, the transcendent beauty of Nocturne is far better for me so I'm glad that got through. I don't believe I have a problem with any of those qualifiers, very good stuff. This week really made me realise what a beauty Solo is especially compared to most other Russian entries. |

YAS at Fairytale that low, it was always awful and I've always found Rybak to be a twat too (though his recent not at all desperate move of appearing on that show where he dressed up as Conchita was quite funny, but mainly because of how few f***s anyone gives anymore).
