The days of Thomas G:son and recycling acts from that one national final 3 years ago are OVER! The Cypriot broadcaster has announced that Alexander Papaconstantinou will compose their 2018 entry. His past Eurovision efforts include Yassou Maria, Always and La La Love so YAASSSSSS to that!
They'll be holding a national final to find the singer of the song in January, with the song being revealed at a later date, as is the custom these days to leave everything to the last minute! |

The subtitle's wish is Cyprus's command it seems! Helena Paparizou reportedly signed a deal to represent Cyprus in Athens today, official announcement on Friday...

Helena has probably the best/most consistent strike rate for me for an ESC winner in their post-win Career so I have VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS here if this turns out to be legit.
