Thanks to everyone who submitted a rate or a commentary! I'll start this off on Wednesday 21st Nov, when hopefully I will have received all commentaries from people who claimed a HM!

Predictions then? ohmy.gif

Lewis G, Isaac and Ellis will place last (probably in that order) and Brooke will win.

Please could those who haven’t yet sent me their commentary do so before tomorrow evening? If you can no longer do it anymore then just lmk! Thanks biggrin.gif

Looking forward to the results *.* Brooke to win. Fully expecting Lewis G / Ellis / Isaac / Hussain to fill the bottom few spaces.

Anamelia, Kay and Kenaley to do well!

Sorry, will defo have it started by this Wednesday.

I hope Lewis F is near the bottom. I recently rewatched the live launch and forgot that he was an arsonist. Also forgot the sheer look of hatred on his face when he was arguing with Akeem in the hot tub. Grim.

16 Lewis G 0.8

Finishing in last place is the controversial Lewis G. On launch night, it was clear that he was in there to have a laugh but be a bit of a dick in general. He was immediately compared to CBB Winner Bear from 2016 due to his confident manner and ...awful sense of fashion. Lewis G quickly took to Ellis on launch night and flirted and touched each other a hell of a lot, this didn't last very long though as Ellis was booted out of the Big Brother house. Lewis had many arguments in the house, but perhaps his most 'iconic' argument was when he contaminated food by mixing raw meat with other raw non-meat ingredients. Ngl, I did find it funny afterwards when all he was going on about was things being contaminated. laugh.gif

Lewis G was evicted though when he was up against rival Lewis F and Isaac (?). I am surprised that Lewis G averaged lower than Ellis..

15 Ellis 1.0

A person who will go down in Big Brother infamy as being the housemate with the shortest stay in the house. She was kicked off the show because of offensive tweets do with 9/11 when she was 15. During that very short time in the house she had flashed her bottom on the table to her fellow housemates cos of her very short dress when she was celebrating her 20th birthday, got into bed with the butthead that was Lewis G. She had celebrated her 20th birthday on the first night. Who knows what housemate she could have been. Unfortunately her past on social media came back and bit her surely Big Brother should have checked this before she entered the house. At least we didn't get that showmance with Lewis G that wouldn't have been a pretty sight.

Expected Lewis G to finish bottom, just came across as a dick.

Posted by: pippa Nov 28 2018, 07:49 PM

Lewis G was just dreadful.

Posted by: Calum Nov 28 2018, 10:02 PM

One of very few people who found Lewis G quite interesting and entertaining to watch. kink.gif The aftermath of the contamination incident was pretty hilarious.

Posted by: Jack Nov 28 2018, 10:58 PM

Lewis G & Ellis were absolutely diabolical housemates. At least with Lewis G he bought out people like Lewis F, Kenaley and Anamelia's firey sides but Ellis would've been a car crash to continue to watch had she stayed.

Posted by: JosephAvery Nov 28 2018, 10:59 PM

Lewis G was horrific and everything we DON'T need in a housemate. A deserved last place. Ellis encouraged him so is just as bad really.

Completely forgot about this OOPS. laugh.gif

Will finish this off before Christmas, with a few coming today!

14 Isaac 2.13

With a small jump in terms of averages, we have Suffolk-born Isaac. I think Isaac has been given a hard time here, as he really wasn't all that bad. I actually really enjoyed watching him for the majority of his stay in the house and he really didn't deserve to be evicted so early on in the series. His best pal in the house was definitely Lewis G, but he also shared an unlikely friendship with Tomasz. When he first went into the house I thought he would be homophobic af around Cian and Tomasz, but it was really nice seeing him so comfortable with Tomasz! Who would've seen that friendship coming?

Overall, I think he was a very good housemate who was evicted far too early. After all, most of the housemates cried when he left the house!

13 Lewis F 3.83

With another small-ish jump in average, we have the extremely divided/controversial Lewis F. For me, Lewis F was one of my favourites at the beginning of the series as he seemed a very chilled/placid guy with a lot to bring with the house, seeing as he has a lot of stories to tell. However, as time went on, I found him to be incredibly manipulative and quite narcissistic in a way and it definitely brought the mood of the house down. He had an argument with pretty much every house mate at one point, even Cameron. His 'biggest' argument however and maybe one of the 'highlights' of the show was hot tub gate with Akeem. As much as I hate Akeem, I couldn't help but agree with everything he had to say. Despite never getting physical, Lewis F was incredibly violent with his words and took it out on any housemate that approached him, such as poor Isabella who tried to stop the argument altogether.

He did have some nice moments however, such as helping Cameron feel comfortable enough to accept who he is and eventually coming out to the house. I really did like that kind side of Lewis F, so it's a shame that he ruined it for himself towards the end of the series when he was making the other HM's time in the house a misery.

Lewis F was controversially kicked out of the Big Brother house quite late on in the series, for 'accidentally' telling Cameron that he would "Sort you out with some Auschwitz" rather than saying "Sort you out with some outfits". However, it's also reported that he then went to do some kind of Hitler sign/symbol? huh.gif

12 Hussain 4.56

I'm surprised that he's not lower actually, but up next is Hussain. I'm never really a fan of late arrivals as I'm not keen on any form of outside contact, so naturally I wasn't a fan of him before he even entered the house. When he did 'finally' end up in the house though, he was even worse then I could ever imagine. He was trying too hard to be the alpha-male of the house and it really wasn't coming across well, seeing as he also had arguments with Brooke, who never really responded to bait in the house.

However, he had start to calm down a few days in or so, and by the time he had been in there for over a week I really did enjoy watching him in there. I love the fact that he never really took shit from anyone, Lewis F for example, and was never influenced by the other housemates with his decisions.

He only ended up staying in the house for 2 weeks though, as he was evicted in a 3 way eviction between himself, Lewis F and Tomasz. He never stood a chance against those 2 in a VTE really :/

11 Kay 4.83

Kay Lovelle is 32 and originally from Georgia but now lives in London. She is an artist but also an animal rights activist and a vegan (something she mentioned several times a day) and wants to promote veganism as much as possible. Kay came across as an interesting housemate and initially got on well with the controversial Lewis G to the bemusement of the rest of the house, some of whom challenged her. Kay faced the first eviction following a BigCoin task but survived along with Sian, with Anamelia being evicted. It became obvious fairly quickly that perhaps the Big Brother experience wasn't well suited to her, and she struggled living with other confrontational housemates which resulted in several heated exchanges. Argued with Lewis F who called her unstable, something she also accused him of and Cameron. Kay originally tried to leave by breaking out the fire escape but when she calmed down, she was in a dilemma whether she should stay and fight or leave. This was a promising moment and it showed Kay as having great potential, but ultimately she decided to cut her experience short and departed. She also attended the live final along with most other housemates and was photographed at the after party.

Glad Hussain managed to finish higher than Lewis F (even if only by one place kink.gif). I do still think he was very intriguing to watch when he wasn't going on about being the king, etc.

Posted by: Jack Dec 16 2018, 05:58 PM

Kay was so underrated, so intriguing and I genuinely really liked her. I think she could've blossomed should she have stayed.

10 Sian 5.13

Just managing to scrape a top 10 placing is Sian! On launch night, I must admit that I was quite excited to see how she'd end up as she did seem incredibly promising. Sian was instantly the 'richest' housemate on day 1, having won the public vote. The public was vote was very vague, as the public had to vote for their favourites based upon their age and job title, so perhaps she wasn't realistically the public's instant favourite as such. As the series went on, we saw very little of Sian. I was quite surprised, as she did seem to be the fun person the BB community stan hard, but in reality she was a bit boring. Sian did seem to perk up a bit for the last 2 weeks or so, having a strong friendship with Brooke which was cute to watch. I'm surprised she got as far as she did, but I suppose she was never in the middle of controversy to be put up for nomination?

09 Akeem 5.6

Annoyingly finishing top 10 is Akeem. Akeem is everything I don't like in a housemate. When he first arrived in the house, I just KNEW what he would be like. He was incredibly boring, never spoke and rode on everyone's opinions. That is probably what I disliked about him most, he never had his own opinion, it was like he was a puppet. He quite clearly didn't want to get involved in any controversy to avoid being nominated and therefore ended up being a dull housemate. He did however have hot-tub gate, which was obviously a build up of frustration that had built up during his time in the house but didn't want to show that as he knew he'd be disliked by the public.

What's more, is that Akeem thinks that he's some kind of A-lister now that he's left the house, having released his own collection of merchandise and charging 'fans' £10 for a pre-recorded video from him (something that Cameron is doing for free!). Before we know it, Akeem will be selling his farts in a bottle.

He ended up finishing 2nd to Cameron and I'd say he got lucky to finish that high, but it was quite obvious judging by Twitter that Lewis haters were voting for him to win.

08 Anamelia 5.66

Anamelia went in as one of the hot favourites with her sassy care free attitude, as well as her interesting outlook on life. Unfortunately, being such a big personality completely worked against her as she got in arguments with nearly all of her housemates and was often criticized for being self centred and attention seeking. In her first and only week, she was easily the most competitive in the big coin task where she fought for survival - which lead to a bit of a blow out against her alliance in Kay, and then Lewis G completely ruined all chances as he took her total big coin task leading to her eviction as she was up against quieter personalities in Sian and Kay.

I understand that a character as big as Anamelia is not going to be for everyone, but I think most people would be lying if they were to say she was boring. The week she was in, she brought fireworks, hilarity and was just oddly compelling. The way housemates such as Isaac and Lewis G acted towards her was pretty disgusting and it surprised me how she got away with it. Personally, I switched off and just filtered in and out when she went but I think it could have been a hell of a lot more interesting if she had stayed and Sian had gone instead. One of the most unfortunate first evictees in a long time.

Anamelia wub.gif

My queen. I stand by my commentary and I think she would've made for compelling viewing had she stayed longer.

07 Kenaley 6.53

Finishing with a respectable average of 6.53, is Kenaley! When she first arrived, I think we all knew that she would be the sassy queen that we NEEDED in Big Brother. She was fierce, honest and to the point. Kenaley had quite a quiet ride to begin with however, making connections with pretty much all of the housemates and got on with everyone. However, it wasn't until the China-plane task that we saw the queen that Kenaley could be. Kenaley decided that enough was ENOUGH and defended herself by having a big argument with Isaac. BEEF TING?

Kenaley was unfortunately evicted around the half way point in a head-to-head versus Akeem after being put up for eviction due to the peoples nomination. I actually went to the studio for this eviction and everyone was convinced that Akeem would be evicted, myself included, so were gutted when Kenaley's name was read out. I managed to get into the interview area for Emma and Kenaley's eviction and she was genuinely such a nice person. She was SO scared and shaking like a leaf during the ad-break as she found it rather difficult seeing so many faces. (She's also the size of a pea in real life! laugh.gif) However, the interview was great and highlighted how great she was as a housemate. wub.gif

06 Cian 6.76

Just missing out on a top 5 position is Irishman Cian! Cian was such an incredible housemate, he was a hilarious mess on most days which is why I loved him so much. He made strong connections in the house immediately, however I did feel really bad for him when Cameron and Zoe seemed to throw him under a bus a bit. Cian got FAR too much stick for admitting that he fancied Cameron and I see no issue with him telling people that. Zoe, however, was the worst of the 2 seeing how she nominated him for eviction on numerous occasions yet acted like nothing happened when she immediately went back to Cian afterwards.

Cian did well in the end, finishing in 4th place with strong support on social media. I did expect him to finish 2nd actually, but I guess the Twitter support was a bit off as most of them were from Ireland and they couldn't vote! Overall, Cian was a fantastic housemate and he's just what Big Brother needs really!

Also lol at Akeem bringing out merch, I mean how?! I can’t think of anything he did that would equate to merch? I thought his ego was big when he was in the house but it’s unbelievable now.

He should be bottom 3 if anything. Although there's more than 10 HMs that that could apply to this year laugh.gif

Posted by: Cqmerqn Jan 27 2019, 12:17 PM

05 Tomasz 6.8

Tomasz the polish gender fluid king/queen that was. They started off as the underdog fan favourite who didn't get many big coins but their luck turned around when Anamelia gave him her Big Coins. Since then still managed to retain their fun self in all tasks (Apart from where power was involved where he could be quite childish). I would say on the whole they were a great character and one that was a memorable one for the last channel 5 series. Even he had a few moments where they could be bitchy or throwing his toy's out the pram but that made them be quite a complex character. Let's not forget they were also very vocal about playing the game so bonus points for being so open in a GAMESHOW xx

04 Cameron 6.93

Next up is our winner...! Cameron Cole provided the true definition of a Big Brother journey. Initially arriving as a socially awkward 18 year old lad, born just months before Big Brother's first series began, Cameron quickly made friendships with Tomasz and Lewis F, solidifying a connection with the latter when he became the first housemate Cameron came out to. Lewis then helped Cameron come out to the whole house, in one of the defining moments of the series. Cameron was otherwise most known for moaning and for getting a haircut from Brooke and Sian that was debatable in quality, but obviously it didn't have a negative impact on the viewers' perceptions of him as they voted him as the final Big Brother winner, and I dare say a deserving one too! Shut up Akeem x

03 Zoe 7.03

Zoe was one of the original fourteen housemates to enter the house on Day 1 and finished in 3rd place in the final - pretty much as high as anybody would have expected her to place. Given that she became known by a few throughout for being quite two-faced, she was either going to be evicted before the final or finish just above whomever had made less of an impact during their time.
For some, she instantly became the ‘relatable’ figure in the house with her quips and antics. However, it soon became apparent that during some of her diary room rants she’d express her dislike for housemates such as Sian, Tomasz, and in the end Cian (who “dropped her” for Isabella) without actually confronting them face-to-face to explore the roots of these issues and move on from them.
Probably the biggest moment for Zoe throughout the series was her involvement in a major argument with Hussain. She stood up for her friend Lewis F who appeared to be Hussain’s number one target in the house, while all the time Lewis F sat back watching and saying nothing. In the end, Zoe had to be restrained by Cian to stop her from locking horns with Hussain, and when she was called to the diary room to simmer down she delivered quite possibly one of the funniest rants of the series. “I’M f***ING FUUUUUMING!!1!”
Towards the end of her time in the house, Zoe became more and more irate and we discovered that she had been on her period. Fair enough. That, coupled with the heightened emotions of not being with her son seemed to get the better of her at times leading to quite an emotional moment when she finally received her letter from home.
Overall, Zoe probably remained one of the most relatable, down-to-earth housemates throughout the series, even if there were sometimes traces of jealousy arising from the Cian/Isabella drama, or two-facedness when talking to others (or Big Brother) about her housemates. She provided some brilliant comedy moments in the form of Margaret while messing around with Cian (we really should have had more of those moments!) and her reaction when she found out there was a curry night up for auction - 100% me.

02 Isabella 7.06

So, only *just* managing 2nd place is late arrival Isabella! Isabella arrived a little later than other housemates, she entered on 5th October, just shy of the halfway point with Hussain. Isabella's entrance was quite a funny one because as soon as she opened the door, Brooke and Sian immediately went to one side and it was clear that they knew each other somehow. Turns out that they were in the same audition room, however since then we have discovered that Brooke was Isabella's replacement! Isabella was meant to go in on Day 1, but it fell through, so Brooke was allegedly her replacement!

Isabella was alright, I'm quite shocked to see her so high up here, as she was quite a 'meh' housemate really. She was nice enough though, so I guess it isn't all bad. Isabella was evicted just 2 weeks after entering the house by Cameron, in a live twist.

01 Brooke 9.0

And the winner is... Brooke! biggrin.gif Brooke was EVERYTHING I love in a housemate. She was interesting, funny, kind, sassy and generally just an icon. I loved her 'don't give a ****' attitude and the fact that she never held back with anything that had to be said, yet she always put her points across so brilliantly and listened to what the other person had to say before responding etc, unlike some other housemates who would just pipe up and scream. laugh.gif Some people say that she was boring, however I found it SO refreshing to have a housemate (and many others this series tbf) who had a lot to them, like they could have deep conversations and discuss anything, but then also have lighthearted chats too. Brooke practices Buddhism, and her main aim of going into the house was to try and change someone's mindset for the better. She definitely succeeded, as Zoe had mentioned that Brooke completely changed the way she thought about life. Brooke *just* missed out on the final, but I'm glad that she got as far as she did as I don't think the series would've been the same without her. I'd actually go as far as saying that Brooke is my most favourite housemate of all time as honestly I love/d her a lot.

Brooke was definitely (mostly) a saving grace for this series when things were getting tedious with Lewis F, etc. Deserving winner heart.gif

Posted by: Liаm Feb 9 2019, 11:32 PM

Isabella being top 2 showed how disappointing this cast was, maybe disappointing is the wrong word but it really lacked those big stand out faves, it was mostly fine people but nobody too great.

Posted by: Jordan Lee Oct 12 2019, 12:45 AM

This series was so good at the start!!

Then the interesting characters left way too soon in my opinion.

It’s a shame as it started out amongst the best C5 BBS at first and felt like a C4 cast.

Then it basically sort of turned to shit sad.gif

Hussain should’ve been an original housemate.

Anamelia and Lewis G being the first two out was atrocious

And having people like Cian and Zoe there till the end And Cameron winning too!! The most miserable joyless teen housemate the show ever had.

It was a series where I didn’t really stan anyone in it as well. But I didn’t intensely dislike anyone either. I largely remained unbothered at who stayed and went in the end but Sian would’ve been my winner if I had my way. Zoe reminds me of The Circles Ella. Loud foghorn who dislikes pretty girls (Zoe Sian, Ella Brooke).
