Looks like the show will miss the 19th March due to Six Nations rugby then if its only 7 episodes and the last show is 9th April.

A really solid show tonight, probably the best of the series so far - especially that undercover! And I can’t believe that Alan Partridge will be on it next week

ITV have announced that SNT will return next year for its 20th series but will then go on hiatus
 The show previously went on hiatus in 2009 before returning in 2013. I think this is a real shame as it feels the only (non-reality) live Saturday night entertainment show left and really defines family entertainment viewing. I get Ant & Dec might want to work on other things but this is their best show!! I’m surprised they’re still sticking with BGT if I’m honest! |

I think the last series felt very stale if I’m honest. Maybe a hiatus will do it good but the last series wasn’t amongst the strongest but I think it just needs some fresher ideas thrown at it more than anything it was very much of things we’d seen before but pulled off less successfully.
