I dont hear vogue apart from the finger clips.
Sounds like a Mabel song that Leigh Anne already nearly copied. |

First listen. It went over my head. It sounded more to me like it was 'BREAK MY SOUL' less annoying little sister though. So much better without having an annoying hype-person screaming all over it. This kind of funky lite-house/pop has never really been my thing though. I never "hate" these songs, they just don't make much of an impression on me. I'll be sticking with this more than most due to it being Ari, so who knows where I'll be with it over the rest of the week. One of those 7 out of 10 songs that I wouldn't usually take more notice of much if it was by an artist I didn't care about.
It should be an absolute smash though. Sounds like something that would be a huge hit. |

The video is here!! It's a fun and slick fit for the song with shades of the visuals for 'Rhythm Nation' plus 'Cold Hearted' by Paula Abdul <3

Definitely wasn't expecting this sound from her. Not sure I like it though, it's quite bland? lyrics are crap as always and flexing the homewrecking is questionable

Anyone else get ‘Be Alright’ vibes from this? Just a less exciting version of it somewhat?

Crap video. Was not expecting them to turn i to weeping angels, but I appreciate the Doc Who reference from her! Disney payong rhem money to put that reference in??
In the words of Simon Cowell: I like ir, don't love it. I wasn't all that big on BMS anyway, byt BMS has more energy to it. The song's good enoigh, and I liek the fact it's a MASSIVE sonic AND!!! lyrical shake-up for her. Massively different to her udusl stiff, so top marks for that. |

That chorus is just so flat and empty to me, which is annoying as the rest of it is good
I think I need to hear this on a night out. |

Can confirm I still have the chorus stuck in my head 10 hours after my first and so far only listen - it's not an obviously 'massive' hook but it's definitely an earworm for me at least anyway!
Basically totally agree with Rob(Bot)'s take, what a world x |

This is not at all what I was expecting! After quite a few lessons my thoughts are it's a cute/fun bop and I like it but it's definitely not up to the huge standard of some of her other leads (especially ntltc / tun) for me. Can't deny it's catchy & addictive though, I've been either humming it or playing it most of the day *.*
I had the exact same thoughts as you Tafty about it giving BREAK MY SOUL without the shouting can hear the 'Be Alright' comparison too! |

I’m absolutely obsessed. I was in the office today but still managed to get plenty of listens in! It does feel completely different to ‘positions’. I can’t wait to hear what the rest of the era will sound like.
Can’t wait to watch the video now too! |

Really enjoy the song but extremely underwhelmed with the video.
Nice to see choreo though. |

I love how stylish the choreography is!
Edit: oh wow I completely missed the callbacks to previous album covers: |
